Morning everyone

Was supposed to be going to my son's this morning so was up at six so I could wash my hair etc before OH got in from work (nights) and now hes not getting me till one lol so decided to do another Vista order while I am waiting.

Still couldn't get the t-shirt to go through for free, did the first time then as soon as I added something it went up to £3.50, think it might be because of the design I was using so have left it for now. Instead I ordered a key ring for my niece as forgot to get her one and all the others have one, a mug and bag for my great-niece, thats all them done now, and a baseball cap for one of my grandsons. Still to get, two more base ball caps for other two grandsons, three mugs for great nephews, two more caps for eldest two great nephews and something else for the baby one, think the caps will be too big for him as hes only 3.

I have nearly finished my brother's cushion, finished doing the actual cover yesterday evening, just got to make a cushion pad to go inside it.

I had some money this morning from some bits my son sold and I helped him so will put some away for daughter for her birthday, may be £50 as she still wants skateboard stuff (boyfriend is into it in a big way, might change opinion if hes not still her bf by then lol).

I need another £44 towards OH's present, getting him a surround sound system. I am saving up Amazon vouchers to pay for it and that is all I need to get and I will have enough to pay for it. Hopefully if things go well this month I should have enough vouchers by the end of it to get it.

I have some fabric to make myself some tops, haven't started on them yet as waiting to see if my OH buys me a special foot for my sewing machine for my birthday next month but once made I will have a lot of fabric left over so want to make my grandaughter a couple of summer dresses out of whats left for her birthday. Once I have done this and bought OH's then that is all birthdays sorted until my Dad's in September and I am making him the quilt.

I am very pleased with all this, have most of the Christmas presents sorted already, just the grand children to sort out and youngest daughter really. OH will have dvds and I hope I can make some more vouchers by then to pay for them.

Well not done much today........had a bit of a lie in, wrote a letter than delved into a bit of my family tree.....hadn't looked at it for ages and on a local history site of where I was born I found some wills that belong to mums side of the family in the 1700's...........interesting reading and got me interested in it.........something else for me to pass the time with.

I have had an awful day today....DD came home last night and we all ended up having a heated discussion today......I smoked 5 cigs today and have a patch on!!!!! I will get back on the wagon tomorrow...I promise. Made some cupcake this afternoon to make me feel better but dunno if it has worked. Got knee op on Friday and am so scared (of the pain not the op!!) I am a wimp!
More ranting over.....so I only some on here to rant...if I do then SORRY!!!

Toothfairy - don't worry and don''t apologise.........rant all you like-thats what friends are for. I've done my fair share of moaning and folk have always been here for me ........means so much.
And please don''t fret about the 5 fags either......with an op looming its understandable and you can really have a fresh start afterwards.
Have a relaxing evening......pour yourself a glass (or cup) or something and think of something really nice.:)

(Mind you........hark at me telling folk what I should do myself................lol)

Right.........now off to look for web site about sock puppets...........grandson had a bit of thing about using his own socks for puppets over the weekend so might make him a couple for his birthday:)

Saw my dear friend Mollie today we planted tomatoes together , she is still recovering from hip op and i know how much she loved gardening ect so this was a small taster to get her into it again lol.

Also dyed my hair and done some course work. Wish i didn't have work again this week lol. Moan moan

Junior - glad your friend is doing well, now the weather might be on the turn for the better would be good for her to get back into a bit of gardening.

Lovely day with sunshine and blue skies but still bit on the chilly side to say the least !

junior - you seem a lot better. Been trying to get OH into gardening magazines and stuff to motivate him a bit..........he wants to re-do the garden so its more accessable for me but to be honest I don't think he's sure where to start so it's at the ''scratching his head'' stage..............lol
If I manage to do sock puppets I'll let you see them:)

Had a lazy day -didn't wake till 9am !! Not like me........but must have need the extra hour or two. Been looking through gardening books for ideas and on the net............found some lovely ways of doing raised beds........must print off to show OH.........maybe that'll stop him scratching his head and actually ''doing''............lol

Well I've only done friends and family up til now, but have been given some territory (4 streets that are 1 minute walk from my house! lol) and there are also area manager (I think that's what they're called) posts available, but my manager is a bit flakey. Lisi - a couple of fags are nothing in the sceme of what you've achieved! It's just a blip! You've got a funny week ahead of you, so don't beat yourself up about any more slip ups, just don't go bonkers and start smoking 20 a day! After your op, you can concentrate....

Tried making a chocoalte fudge cake yesterday - was not good. Anyone got any tried and tested recipes?? Simpler the better....
Had a good weekend otherwise - was off Friday so helped parents in their garden to move a (smallish!) tree, park with DD and hubby saturday and lots of cooking, and more cooking yesterday. Proper cooking that I actually WANT to do that is! lol

Back on the wagon......had 1 cig this morn but nothing since! Went out to sort DD's passport today and picked up some photo paper....nothing else!!! Got hospital tomorrow to sort out my Vit D problem (I cant take supplements and my levels are extremely low) then op on Friday. Other than that gonna be a quiet week. xx
