Mary - glad you are getting a good nights sleep, wish I was having some of what you are having lol, could do with a good nights sleep. My OH snores like a tractor engine when he is here and I never get a good nights sleep and what with my dodgy arms and shoulders etc, can never get comfortable and the pain ends up waking me up then I cant get back off again as he is being too noisy. He is on nights this week so I thought I would have a good night last night, woke at 1 needing the loo then couldnt get back off again as uncomfortable, came down again at 5 needing the loo again and still couldnt doze off after I went back up. He is out again tonight so really hoping I can have a good night.0

Hiya! sorry i havent posted for a while... anyway i remembered the new challenge starts on the 24th so thought i'd have a looksie...
Santas Challenge - Feb (thou think Santa went the wrong way round!!)
Easter Eggs!
I know we have March's challenge before Easter, but the reason brought the Easter egg, Easter presents etc forward, is the supermarkets price wars - Presently Asda's are £2 instead of £5 with mugs, think Tesco have had an offer, I think within the next couple of weeks, all the other supermarkets will break into price war, so maybe now the time for the list.
Im going to write my list as soon as I have finished the post ready to buy at the weekend, i did see them on offer a couple of weeks ago and thought then ooo i should get them but didn't so thanks for the reminder and kick up the bum!
Vistaprint
We're nearly there for a new month, so that means we can raid top cash back and quidco. I know they send a lot of emails with special offers, but sometimes theres a chance the cashback won't go through, I'm guessing its there free offers on site, but also check the "special offers link" - as its Vistas offers - would still be ok for cash back, again its a maximum of 4 items free, but it doesn't stop a 2nd free order going through.
Sorry if this is dense but I really dont get vista or what its all about so will prob skip this? thanks xx
Birthday and Christmas Lists
I know were wonderful ladies and are doing brilliantly at money saving, bargain hunting, and even having xmas items wrapped, - keep an eye out of sales for smaller items.
Argos - Clearance section - you can locate your local store, going by one of our stores, their clearance has gone from 700 to nearly 1000 items - bargains to be had
Im up to date until June - yay! so now focussing on the back end of the year, have to say Argos has been my god send this year!
Lloyds Chemist - They have a 3 for 1 on clearance products, there may be suitable items (thou not sure on stock), both online and instore.
Went to Lloyds last week... got 3 golf gift sets for a £1 and also 3 mens smelly sets for £2.49!
Easter Holidays
Apologies more a mums one - we've got about 5 or so weeks to Easter, then there back on Tues for 3 days off the Fri (Royal Wedding), - so its a bit of a hit and miss, hopefully weather be warmed, - look for offers as a lot of the local attractions usually open Easter, tend to do offers in local papers - keep an eye out for vouchers, and also plan ahead money wise - day out, they go out with friends etc
Im a mummy in waiting so N/A at the mo
Car Boot
There starting to creep back in, so if you have stuff to sell, no lie in's on a Sunday!!
Thought about this the other week, got some bits and bobs lying around but to be honest car boots scare me! I did one last year and people were literally in my car as I was trying to set up! May give it another go tho and take the hubster with me!
It wouldn't be a Santa's challenge if Miss Hoodie didn't have a cleaning challenge......
The car - we're not that mean to make you wash it yet!!!, but give the inside a good clean out, remember that glove compartment where we chuck everything in and then jam it shut!!
Two fun bits to the car challenge -
1. Who finds the worst / most embarrasing item in their car!!
2. Money - who finds the most money that has dropped out in the car... (little tip - the best place to look is by the seat belt holders in the rear seat)
I have a new car (after i wrote mine off!) so its still very clean and new looking inside, esp as the hubster insists on hoovering it out every weekend, so dont think i'll find any hidden treasures in there just yet!
First Aid kit etc
I know we checked this before christmas, - simple things plasters, wet wipes, parecatomal etc........ re check and see if anything needs replacing, everybody has different items they use, follow accordingly.
Did this last week as me and hubby decluttered the kitchen and thats where the first aid kit is kept
Cooking
Lets have some fun, grab a recipie that you haven't used for a while, and cook something from it, - for the fun element it needs to be something you haven't cooked before. Doesn't have to be a 3 course meal, could be as simple as jam tarts with home made pastry...
I think I might raid old faithful, bero 1970s cookbook or dairy one (same era!!).
Not much of a cook but will def give it ago! mmm now what to make???
Christmas / Birthday Lists
May sound daft, but don't forget to update the list if you have brought, made, put by anything, as well as putting note by any that have gone, my mother had a panic she'd forgotten her friends bday...... she'd put it in her diary on 2 different days in Feb, got the right one and the present done.
Done
We're have a bit of fun....
Just imagine we had a lovely sunny day!! who would you want to rub sun tan lotion into you.
Twilights Edward! Not Robert P but the actual character Edward lol - ooo yes please!
I will add one of Miss Hoodies suggestions - the glass of wine and the chocolate but for us not the children!! xx
I'll take the chocolate and have a nice cuppa

Dont worry about all of the challenges Daydreamer if your'e not up to it yet. Have you got a spreadsheet set up with all your bits saved on it, or if not may be a note book with everyone you want to buy for in it and a list of what you have already got and who its for etc. You will find you feel much better once you have a list, its a funny thing but true. Might be better to have a hard copy in a book anyway even if you have a spreadsheet as a couple of people have had probs lately where they have lost the file and not had it backed up. We are all here to support you xx0

I need to have a sort out on top of my wardrobe again as I have a lot of bits to put away. Will go up and get that sorted once OH gets up, he is off today so we need to go to the town as well. Want to get another Vista order on the way but a bit short this month. I think the pp has gone up a bit too unless it was just where I ordered a mug last time, pp was about £5 something. Still happy with it though for what I am getting.0

clare - don't laugh but I wrote all the cards I'd done this morning...................lol Didnt feel like doing anything like sewing so that was the easy option.
Made a boob-boo with about 4 cards that aren't suitable for some folk and need to do 4 more now that are a bit more apt for elderly folk - one of mums friends may not appreciate a winnie the pooh..........lol
Having hair cut tomorrow........handy as hairdresser lives opposite and goes to peoples houses...........cleaner coming as well to do top to bottom ready for son, girlfriend and little grandson at the weekend.
Todays been really cold and OH decided to clear out our back room/indoor shed........back door was open and shut so many times.........my legs were froze !!
Still he did get me couple of bunches of daffodils so mustn't complain................lol:)

Was looking at fabrics on Ebay the other day (when ain't I lol) and saw someone selling some scraps in a bundle so bid on it. Looked quite a big bundle. Well I won and its just come, nice lot of pieces in there, mostly small bits like you get from samples but so many different kinds, need to think up what to make out of them now. Was a bargain really, paid £5.90 inc pp, woman had to pay £4.40 to post it as it was quite heavy. There are some nice brown bits which I can possibly use to make the cushion for my brother (the one with the poem I been doing).
Off to have a better look xx0
