It's so quiet on here lately :(. Mind you It doesn't help when I go awol too. Last week kids and OH was off work and school, and this week has been spent trying to catch up with things I didn't get around to do. :)

I'm glad you're sleeping well Mary - it does you a world of good doesn't it?

Rufus - How are you? I hope you managed to find lots of things to do with those scraps. You're so clever I'm sure whatever you make will be wonderful.

Clare - what are you doing on the Avon? You thinking of becoming an area manager? I hope it works out for you hun.

Mum2one - thanks so much for the challenge, I will have to make a proper list what needs doing - I know I need to do another Vista order though.

Have a lovely weekend everyone. Take care xxx

    Good Evening Ladies.

Vista order made, last one I did through TCB and it never tracked, so I put in a tracker to them and checked today and I now have 19.42.

Vista Order this time, the Keyring saying "These are Grans Keys" a Notbook, with Grans Notebook, and a pen. I also got 100 postcards to send out as thank you cards, or use for invites. They are so cute....... I tracked through Vista, and it cost me 4.69 for my postage and if it tracks, I get it all and it cost Vista 46p How do they make any money?

Next order I will do is for my dad, I hope the caps are available then. He will love something on it........... The Best Papa!

I hope you are all doing well. I took DD to the science Centre and she had a blast! Came home absolutely shattered.........

She is going to a party tomorrow, then staying over with her daddy....... I hope she is going to be ok.

    Hi Elysia

I'm fine thanks, been busy sewing all afternoon. Found a good use for some of the scraps. I am making a cushion for my brother, got one side sorted but was wondering what to do on the other side and the scraps gave me an idea. I have been making a collage out of some of them, made a picture of our house where we grew up. Its not exact as we were in a terrace and I have omitted the two houses each side and put lots of country side in instead lol. Then made some people up out of fabric too to be our family (the poem on the other side is about family). Took me about three hours to cut out all the pieces and stitch them on (used the sewing machine). Just had to embroider the faces and hair on this evening. Will take a pic tomorrow although cushion wont be finished yet. I wont be putting it on my blog till later in the year as my bro goes on it.

Esmer - with Vista you want to make a folder in your email if you can and then whenever you get an email from them just move it in and you can probs use the links another day. I have found that even old emails I have had for ages still work with the free bits. I only delete them if there is nothing really on them that I would want. I have been thinking about the caps too for my grandsons, either them or the t shirts.

    Morning all

Heres a link to my picture I made with my scraps of fabric and to the poem. Was trying to add them as pics on the sewing thread but didnt work this morning so just added links instead.

Was talking to my youngest sister this morning on messenger and showed her the pic and she knew straight away what it was and who the people were lol.

I have decided to make my Dad a quilt for Christmas as he will be only one without one. Had an idea of getting my family to write a message to him on a square of paper each then I will trace them onto squares of fabric and use them in the quilt so it will be a proper family quilt. My sister is getting her lot to do it and going to ask my other sister to do it as well. We have a big family so will take up a lot of squares lol.
