Son loved his family tree scrapbook and sos box........lovely to see them.........now just have to get the house back to normal (plus my brain!!):)

Rufus - that collage is AMAZING!!! Well done - that is absolutely fabulous. I love the idea of making a family quilt for your dad - it could become an heirloom. Make sure you put the dates on!

Mary you have a rest now and put your feet up - having family to stay is hard work.

Esmer - thanks for the link - I've visited that page before, but didn't look through all the photos - Did you see these? I may have a go, and the piggie ones. Super cute. http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Sock-Monkey-Shop/114589518615108?sk=wall#!/photo.php?fbid=114603215280405&set=pu.114589518615108&theater

DD2 had a letter send home from school the other day - congratulating her on her brilliant attendance, it like a jinx. She's poorly today. :(

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Sorry girl I've not been about I have had the worst three weeks :(

Too cut a long story short I had a nasty UTI which traveled to both kidneys and bladder , 5 sets of antibiotics and a week in hospital on a catheter and I'v fluid/antibiotics didn't help much , came out of hospital with a catheter because bladder muscle and urethea not working properly , now have been taught to self catheterize and have to go for more tests and take meds. Finally back at work and adapting to this new way of going for a wee! Spent my 19th birthday in hospital too!

But anywho , back to "normality now" so will go and have a good reading catch up , hope your all doing well and saving money! x

    Thanks girls :)

I was impressed with how organized i was , my friends boy turned 13 today. I brought his present in the December sales :0) Wrapped it up and in birthday wrapping paper i had left over from last year , and used a card i got in the sale for "teenager" , he loved it :o)

I need ideas for close friends 25th wedding annaversery (there my best mates mum and dad and i have known them for 3 years , lovely people! They have asked for nothing especially nothing silver lol. I so far brought them a lovely card. Some one else is getting them a photo in a nice frame , they are being brought lots of booze , not sure what to get? Some thing fun and quirky and not to expensive! (if i had the money i would spoil them lol)

Toothfairy , sorry you had cigs but were all entitled to set backs and slip ups so chin up fingers crossed everything resolves with daughter. xx

brain half asleep - have a bash at ideas

    Going down Vista Print route
Can you get a photo of them together - from your friend, as vista have been sending offers out

the premium mugs - ones you can add photos to, maybe do 2 mugs (have to put them through as different orders, )

Keyring - date fo wedding and annivesary

    Notebook for the mum

    baseball cap for the dad

    personalised pen each

small cotton bag for the mum

If you did it over 2 orders and sais allow 21 day postage, shouldn't be more than £4 per order in postage

    ---
    Maybe a drinks package
    Cafeterie Pot - Poundland
    Teapot - Poundland
    Couple of nice mugs

    ----
    xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
