Dd would eat all day if I let her! I would increase her portion size a wee bit. It's good when they get to three as they start to tell you what's upSaving 2.00 coinsGrocerys set to 40.00 pwBeing Thrifty0

Hello all :j
esmer -your cakes look delicious and so professional..........making me hungry :T
Been real lazy today.........made a few more ''patchwork'' christmas cards then sat down with my book and time just seemed to go. I'm so late coming on here -hadn't realised the time.
Think I did too much 'walking' about yesterday........really must learn to pace myself better and not go mad just because I feel I can.
Take care allI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Esmer - those cakes look fab, good luck with the court case 2mor, were still waiting for the cafcass officers to come and do interviews with me and dd.
Nightmare of a day - took dd and her friend to this big indoor play area, it was suppose to be split into 3 sections, 0-2, 3-5, and 6-12 - there was no control, no proper siting of staff, the place was heaving, at 11am, they'd closed the car park as it was full, but luckly with the disabled stickers the bloke squeezed us in, - got back to the car, I was pulled in on an angle, he'd put another car at the back of me, there was literally 12in gap, how the heck I got on, no idea, we did in 2 attempts......no dents!!
The venue, Miss Hoodie and her come friend come back, there was some kids having a massive fight up the top of this play thing, they ended up pushing Miss Hoodie and her friend down the slide sideways, that didn't help, sent them back and said if there still there move to a different section, went back up different section, the lot who had been fighting started pushing and shoving everyone about, they came back the friend was in tears - so I spoke to a member of staff, who couldn't give 2 hoots - I'll look into it, he went in that direction, 20 mins later Miss and her friend - come back Miss Hoodie has steam coming from her ears (def a chip off the old block!!), - apparently the same batch had been fighting and pushing all the kids not just them, they spoke to the same lad, he ignored them, I asked them both were they polite, Miss Hoodie, I even said sorry to trouble him, we explained what happened, - he say so what and walked off........ that was it, went and spoke to a manager, who apologised, I had to realise it was half term and they were busy, yes we know half term, thats why we there, - but the fighting should have been dealt with......... he sent a girl up with the kids, this girl told them if it happens again, there out, so thought fair enough, - we're be ok. No such luck, both kids are now in tears, the friend had been kicked in the back and pushed down the slide, that she actually came down sideways.......... and Miss hoodie got hit in the eye with one of those plastic balls, which apparently wasn't meant to be in the area.
They had no control over the areas, I was sat right b the 0-2, I lost count the number of times they had to get bigger kids out, not 3 or 4 yr olds 8, 9 +.
The friend has got 2 small bruises on her hip where she got hurt, Miss hoodie has got bruiseing coming out on her eyelid, and under her eyes swollen, so looks like she is going to have a black eye....... I got them out of them told the woman on reception that I will be complaining further, at this time i didn't know about the brusing.
Took the kids to our local 2 4 1 pub for lunch, (had a free kids meal), they both scoffed that, and came home, they played upstairs, then they did a painting, had tea, - b teatime this was when we saw the bruising come out, theres me panicking, bad enough my child, but when your in charge of someone elses you really worry.
Santas Challenge will be on this evening, just putting the finishing touches to it, as Miss Hoodie has helped..........
Being rejected (she writes her ideas on the computer ready)- your all be pleased to know

Lisi - FAB! you go girl!
esmer - sending you loads of luck! Hope you're ok today!
mum2one - oh my word!! Complain!! And if you get no joy, start contacting the media! Have you taking pictures of Miss Hoodie's bruises?? How irresponsible. It may be half term, but that's no excuse for a riot!!!!
And thank the lord for your editing of Miss Hoodie's challenges! I ain't doing no decorating! lol
Quick update - DD slept really well last night! Asleep by 7.30, woke 2.30 for a bottle (seemed more awake than usual so I thought 'here we go, could be trouble'. Didn't interact with her too much, put her down awake after the bottle, heard her on the monitor having a little chat with herself, then sleep!) and I had to wake her just after 7 this morning so she could be dressed and we could go! So I'm pleased! See what happens tomorrow. I had turned the little electric radiator in her room up very slightly so her room was warmer last night - maybe that helped.
Right, I'm doing a murder mystery on Saturday, so I'm off to learn my script. VERY quiet today in work (half term in a college!) and all work's done, so no one will mind! Have a good day all!
