I was at Bluewater today and I overheard one of the security guards saying that people were queueing all night (for the store which opened at 4am). He said there were lots of children in their Pj's which parents had bought with them. I'm not a parent so I can't judge but surely that's not the place for small children?i will never take my kid along for the sale! pure torture for both parties i will say
there might b some people who cant get any babysitter at that time but surely is not fair on the kids
Totally agree, saw some footage on the news, those poor children.
surely they can just wait in the car ?

Quick question about the sale. I was trapped between sale start times due to flights. Bluewater was out of the question (and by the sounds of it I should be glad) but by the time I got home to Belfast there was hardly anything left.
I asked at the till when they accept returns and when they go back out onto the floor. I got told refunds are from Wednesday but that returned sale items are not put back out. Is this true as it seems mad??? I was hoping to find some bargains when people return all the stuff they realise they can't afford or don't want.0 -
I wouldn't dream of taking my daughter to the sale either. It seems very cruel, theres not much room to walk let alone push a buggy anyway. My LO stays firmly in her bed with her daddy. However, I always go and its defo worth it. I always get about 75% of her wardrobe for the next size up and sometimes some things for next year (like jackets and hats and gloves). Saves me a fortune really. I love Next but can't justify spending £25 on a jacket for a 2 year old but £10 or £12 makes it similar prices to asda or tesco but lots better quality. I like the m&s sale for the same reasons although they don't do as good basics as Next.0

My bugbear with the Next sale - can anyone tell me why they don't put the suit jackets with the corresponding suit trousers ? Even if you just want the trousers it is much easier to pick these out then trying to match a jacket with the trousers somewhere in the chaos in the right size...0
