I was at the Next sale in Livingston today. It opened at 7am and I was there at 7.05. It was dead, no decent offerings though. I got nothing for myself however my LO got loads.
Quite disappointed.0 -
Was at Manchester City Centre for 5.15am. It was madness in there with the place heaving saw one group of people leave with about 20 bags and some homeware in there hands (no joke!). Spent about 90 ish quid and got some good bits and pieces so I'm pretty please. OH got some work shirts as well. Saw a handful of old stock but everything else was this season.
Will probably have another look in Wed / Thurs as returns start on Wednesday and I'm sure they'll be plenty!
Best part was going on all the other shops as they opened and were dead. Made the rest of my sales shopping so relaxing!2013 Free Money - £363.44 Topcashback
2014 Free Money - £59.84 Topcashback
2015 Free Money (so far) - £186.33 Topcashback0 -
I went to my local store at about 8.45 this morning, got some clothes for my children. Wasn't impressed when I got to the till after an hour of queueing, to be told that the coat I had picked up for my little boy (the main thing I had wanted) had been put out in error and wasn't actually sale stock
had picked up another coat for him as well thankfully or would have been stuck. 0 -
I poped into a small Next store this morning at 10am, it was dead and staff were still puting sale items out, i managed to get a few bits for the girls, i already ordered a lot in the VIP sale but there seemed to be better items in store. Last year i went to a large store at 5am, after today (going late) i don't think its worth going at 5am as they restock through out the day anyway. I'm going to try another store tomorrow as i am looking for pj's for the girls.0

I usually go to next just as the door opens at 5am, grab what I want, pay and am back home again before 6am. This morning was totally different. I arrived at 5:00am to find that the first batch of people had already been let into the store. Some 340 people so I was told! Shoppers were then being let into the store on a one out one in basis so I still had over an hour to wait in the freezing cold. Seeing as I am still full of flu, I changed my mind and just headed home. Very MSE as I didn't spend a penny! Still gutted though as I didn't get any bargains and there was some stuff that I was after for my daughters room. I just couldn't justify waiting that long and feeling poorly. I am absolutely amazed at how busy it was though. I have never ever seen it that busy and believe me I have been to a fair few sales at that time in the morning.:(0
