  • Of course it could be a little plastic novelty clock in the shape of a fender strat for £20

You'd manage to not look too disappointed wouldn't you?
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

If you guys aren't married... propose! A woman that buys you a fender strat is a keeper!!! haha

I know you're joking but I have thought about it from time to time but she has a big downer on marriage so it probably would make her uncomfortable. :(
Joking aside, what about taking her away for a long weekend somewhere nice in the new year? Doesn't have to be overly far or extravagant, just a nice weekend together.

We're going to Rome for a long weekend next March but I might be able to arrange something else on top.

    Thanks. :)

I'd find that pretty funny to be honest. :D

Jewelry, it has to be jewelry. Get her a nice necklace/earing set - something unusual but classic is always a winner :)

Sexy underwear is a tradition in our house - if you feel confident enough to buy something like that for her, she will love it if you get it right - but only go for it if you are sure you can get it right!

Otherwise, as you don't want to propose, perhaps something to show your commitment like an old fashioned eternity ring might be appropriate, and some of them are really beautiful.
    Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!

The eternity ring is a fab idea.:)

Don't bother with the sexy undies, not unless you want to wear your new guitar!:D

  • Babyshoes is the sexy underwear for his benefit or hers???

Some sort of jewlery would be nice a pair of earrings or something :)

  • Proper jewellery - like diamond earrings - is in order.

And yes, being able to play her favourite song - even if you don't look like Slash - would be a very, very good idea.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Possibly get the jewellery engraved? Something sentimental that only you two would "get"?
