I am having a real conflict these of interest these days, and it won't be long before one of these weazley little runts is trying to pull his head out of his own backside.
You clearly hate anyone that owns a BTL but at the same time are indirectly taking money from tenants yourself.
I can see the moral conflict (and irony).0 -

Non=BTLers don't.

So, those of us who have bought a property to live in < BTL landlords.
Riiiiight, I see now.
And it's "country's" BTW.
And I think you should have typed "providing".
Only someone with such poor grammar would come out with a statement like that, so at least you are consistent.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -
The more you attack the greed of these people the more personal and nastier they get, in all honesty their defence of BTL is weak at best.
Most of the BTL went into this game because of the capital games they once could command, they quite simply want to sit at home bragging on internet sites how flush they now are, which in most cases is now turning out to be a bluff.
You get BTL posters so conditioned to lying that they assume that everyone is at it, Chucky being a good example, the coward still has not once replied to my charity offer after what he claimed, the guy could make a fast £5000 bucks for a good cause, why has he not taken me up?.
Pretty much spot on.
I don't have such strong views against BTL landlords, but many of the do seem to like to do the "loadsamoney" thing and wave their wad in their tenant's faces, so to speak. I find that a rather unpleasant characteristic. If I were a BTL LL, doing well out of my investment, the last thing I'd be doing is boasting about it, let alone mocking my potential clients. Far better to keep quiet and just go about my business while enjoying my success.
I don't broadcast here how I have invested my money, all I`ll say it's not in BTL, which I have certain views on. I happen to think that the BTL market has been given too much free reign, and although I could have done, I chose not to purchase a second property. I prefer to allow someone else the opportunity to buy a modest place of their own, like I did 15+ years ago.
Oh, and it's nice to see chucky being knocked back a peg or two.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -

I would also add that education doesn't necessarily imply intelligence, and a lack of education certainly doesn't equate to being unintelligent.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
I do believe the biggest problem is the lack of regulation, as mentioned if tennants had more rights I wouldn't be as against the BTL market, with that if there was more regulation how many of these landlords wouldn't be bothering.
As mentioned I refuse to rent and do not see a rented house as a stable or safe place to start a family. As in an example above if I could know I had 10 years (if I behave) and I wouldn't have a fight on my hands to get things fixed then I would actually consider it. But right now I just wouldn't feel secure, at least if we buy our own place nobody is going to give us 2 months notice have a mate who fancies the house.
The above situation with my other half being pregnant or with a young baby really does scare me.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

In that case we may aswell stop saving spend what we have and get renting right away, how foolish of me to want my own home.
By all means I can see the upside of renting when it comes to maintence, but a reasonable insurance policy will cover most things and the rest is a small price to pay for the security what comes with it.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017
