  • My husband went to the 2 stores in Bedford. The staff there said they knew nothing about the big reductions and refused to look online when he asked them to. He left in disgust.

Got the last one, the display £139 one for £3. Thing is, no box. So I now have an "erected" xmas tree in the back of my car, can't face getting it out, nowhere to put it!! Need a box it'll fit in, so I'll need to get some string to tie it down and a tape to measure it, then keep an eye out for a suitable box. Bit of a sod really... but I was there, it was there, had to have it.

Same happened to me - last one in the store, no box, but couldn't resist a bargain!!!! Just flattened it all down but need to find something to put it in! My mums friend reckons they do Christmas tree bags now to keep them in - not sure if she's having me on or not though! Failing that I think i'm going to look for a large cheap sports-type holdall to put it in!
