Love it. Shiny next heels on last night for a night out with sis. Off to get ready for a wee bit of culture with her now and be back later X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

flat and comfy today but did high heeled boots yesterday and nice heels (too hard to describe without making them sound horrible!) last night.
I discovered the shoe equivalent of a Freedom Friday 'purchase' at the bottom of the wardrobe so I will be trying them out on Friday, possibly tomorrow night
hope you enjoy the culture with your sister Souk!0 -
Hey all,
Had a fab night out with my sis last night. Took her out for dinner and cocktails  and we had a stroll in the (sort of) sun today! Great to see her and have some chat about our plans.
Money looks like this:
Purse: £4.85 to last til Thursday
Wedding Fund: £180 left in plus I can use some of the £70 weekly spends for next week on this
Groceries: 5.83 left and lots in
Clothes fund: £8.50 left (I need to put this back from another area)
I bought a lovely bag today from Dune for the wedding and also a shrug. I cant find either on their respective web sites but the bag was £20 and the shrug was £27.50. I hope to be able to take the shrug back as it will be a beautiful day
but I have to be sensible!!! Had TOTALLY forgot that I owe £80 for my share of the hotel for two nights so have had to borrow £150 from the buffer again.
Tis all so ruddy expensive and have a hen do next month too which I've had to pay quite a lot for this month unexpectedly so it's all paid up front for the organiser. That will be grand next month but it has to come out of this months cash and it's leaving me scary skint. I want to have a good time with my sis and do as much as I can but these things are all just adding up. Feeling a bit eek about it all tbh and hate feeling like this as it's meant to be fun but I just dont have spare cash for stuff like this and the buffer is meant to be for what comes next, not for seeing me through now. My next job needs to involve plenty of cash for sure!!!
Plans my sis and I have include a bit more travel, me hopefully visiting Oz in the not too distant future (job dependant) and basically us continuing to see friends and have fun. Now that, I like!!!'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Love the sis plans but ouch to the money situation. I think I would be tempted to use the buffer fund to have a great time with your sis while you can as you can't just pop over for a night out.

You're keeping an eye on it, Souk, a very detailed eye, so you know what's going on, and thats half the battle - you're a resourceful, energetic person, and I'm sure you'll find a way to do 99% (at least!) of what you want to do
