Hi lovely, great that you're finding plenty of jobs ... hope you get the one you really want
xx0 -
:j:j:j
Yippee! payday and the accounts are all sorted:
Holidays: £400
Buffer: £1350
Groceries: £60
Spends: £270 ( 3 weeks at £70 and 1 week at £60)
I also have my gym membership money allocated seperately and £65 put aside for my Liza Minelli ticket. :j
I'm going to see Liza on Wednesday and I'm very excited. My friend bought the ticket and I'll give him the cash on Wednesday. We're also going out to play after it but will hopefully go to £1 a drink establishments
Am taking a friend out for her bday on Sunday night and then the wretched South Beach diet and gym plan start on Monday as that will be exactly 6 weeks til my holiday and it HAS TO BE DONE!
I will be breaking the diet to drink after Liza, and then mid month for a friends hen weekend and again the following weekend for a friends BBQ. By the end of the month I hope to have lost 8lbs and have a much flatter tum.
To that end I have started meal planning and done an A8da order to come on Monday. Apart from Liza I hope to have two full uninterupted weeks on the plan, which will be a great kick start.
The food on this wont be cheap but as I wont be doing much else apart from hiding from carbs and going to the gym I should actually be able to save a bit.
WK 2 should see a good saving so Im going to treat myself to either a pedicure or some new undies if I can keep to it.
Well, what a dull post but thats the plan for July! I'll also be job hunting.
My lovely sister goes back to Oz on Saturday. IF I dont have to move and can keep the buffer for fun stuff then I'd like to go and see her next year. The buffer would pay my ticket and then I could save another few K to go out with but it all depends on work. If I do stay here I will take a bit out to get the flat painted and buy a few new bits for a new job but then it goes away for Oz.

Souk have you tried the 30 Day Shred? I am a bit anal about telling every single person I encounter about it (yeah I've turned into one of those annoying ones). Its ace, I have visible muscles for the first time!!!
Ps, Yeay to potential jobs and oz trips

Hi LB, no hon stuff you do in the house is not for me. Loads of reasons which I wont bore you with on here but I dont mind the gym when Im there so I'll do that.
Got ace news on that front yesterday, my friend has a months free buddy pass for his gym so I wont have to pay to join one from this months money and can start at the begiining of next week :j:j:j
This is great for my money and will help me to get orgainsed.
Off to remove carbs from my cupboards and put them somewhere where I cant see them ready for tomorrow then to work and out for my friends bday. I have a lovely maxi to wear if the weather stays nice (and a plan B outfit ready in case it doesn't!)
Enjoy your Sundays all XXX'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
A buddy deal at a gym sounds really good, Souk. So does hiding the carbs for now

Thanks all. Well the gym pass will save me £42 :j
Diet started today and have loads of nice healthy food in.
Bought ridiculous cocktails last night which were £7 each  but had a very glam night so all good. Spent a teeny bit over this weeks budget so will take some from next week to cover it.
I only have about thrupence left in my purse and am out on Wednesday to see Liza so will have to draw Thursdays money then and make it £60 and not £70 thanks to the cocktails.
Off to the gym at some point tomorrow so away to pack my bag and do a spot of ironing.
Feeling good about the diet. I am the heaviest I have ever been and while I know I wont have Dr Christian knocking at my door any time soon, I dont want all my clothes to feel this tight and I honestly wouldnt be happy to buy any bigger so the only solution is to get it off, and fairly quickly. Not going to put my starting weight as I know there are some ladies on here who are so much bigger and I wouldn't want to offend but would like to lose 12lb ideally over about a month so we'll see. Isn't that the point when you really take weight loss seriously! When you'd have to buy new clothes and you don't want to be that size? Good luck with it, Souk.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

People on here who have met you have said you are tiny

It is of no consequence how people see you and comparing each others weight is the worst thing anybody can do. Everybody is individual. You know what weight you are comfortable at no matter how others see you and I couldnt agree more about when the clothes feel tight, that is when I start to cut back. Do take into account fluid retention too. If you drink lots more water when exercising (and I hate to say wine has tons of calories so less of that) you will find that some of that weight will drop off without even trying on the food front. At least its summer and there are lots of lovely salads to be had. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0
