Having a lovley day off today. Mum and Dad had talked about coming up but between us we decided that they wouldn't. My days off for the last few weeks have been spent with my sis which was lovely but I just needed to recharge my batteries and I have.

I've been for another session at the gym today and booked myself into an aerobics class for tomorrow. Really enjoyed my sesh and feel that my head is deffo in the right place. Before I did a tiny amount on the grounds that 'I'm not fit yet'. I'm not terribly but made myself do 20 mins on the crosstrainer today and will do more on Friday. Never going to lead out the London Marathon but if I can get fitter and lose weight then that will do. I have come to the realisation that my life and love of food and drink are not something I want to change but I dont like seeing the weight creep on so excercise may well be the way forward for me long term. Already feel more energetic and have done lots of sorting and cleaning yesterday and today.

Having a right old fester now and getting ready for Liza later. Thanks for all the good wishes for that and the diet. Cheri is right, I AM small compared to most folk but I like it that way as I have always been quite slim and how I look IS important to me. Dont worry, you wont be seeing my bones anytime soon :rotfl::rotfl:and I know when to stop so that I dont look gaunt but all good for now.

Moneywise: I have £60 in my purse to last til next Thursday :A
I have £11.58 of my grocery money left for the month . Ive got a bit in but will be topping up the veg lots so will need to help this pot out at some point.

I am again putting anything less than pound coins into my pig. Dont know what I'll do with this money yet but I'll think of something once there's a decent bit in there.

Think I might have a wee siesta and then need to do some pre Liza ironing. Yippee!!!!

I totally get you re weight loss. To a stranger I may look fine ( art of dressing to disguise ;)) but I know I have a tiny frame & what horror is there lurking under the clothes. Exercise is definitely the way to go. I feel so much healthier for it & have loads more energy & stamina too.

Have a fab time tonight :D

Totally agree on exercise and weight - its so deceptive anyway. My doctor looked at me one time and said, you weigh about nine stone, you're underweight. Erm, no, said I, I weigh ten stone! And I did! Exercise is definitely the way to go.

Anyway, have a wonderful, wonderful time tonight! And tell all tomorrow!

    Hi all,

Well Liza was fab. There was a bit of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3HgPUB4MbU
this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLeC9RvrKrU and of course, this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moOamKxW844.

She looked great in a long sparkly shirt and velvet trousers and strutted about all over the shop with her new knee!!!! The audience comprised well heeled men who seemed to have left their wives at home :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and smartly dressed older ladies in gold heels. I wore some fab shoes myself!!!

I had a good drink last night as I allowed myslef a night off the diet and got back on it today. I fell asleep in my fancy top and frilly knickers, with a bit of Pot Noodle on the top for good measure (oops drunk food). I teamed that with messy eye make up and my grey velour trackie bottoms this morning when an estate agent came to visit for the landlord. He looked horrified  but was another well dressed older gay man so I explained I had been at Liza and he said he felt sure she would approve :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Diet going well and food has been tasty so far. I have been at the gym 3 times this week already and have my bag packed to go tomorrow too. I'll have Saturday off and go Sunday as well. Actually really enjoying it. Did aerobics tonight and while I was a bit all over the place it was fun.

Didnt iron yesterday so need to do a bit now. Spent a bit last night  so now have £25 to last until next Thursday. No social plans thanks to the diet though so should be fine. May not manage to buy the undies I had planned but will live, that's for sure! X
