Woohoo on the job news :)
  • ooohhhhh - wonder if it's the other one i think it could be then, in which case extra oooohhhhhh!! good luck! :j

I definitely agree you are a money mentor - you are managing on a budget, not compromising on what's important to you and living a life in glorious technicolour - some people can't manage one of those let alone all three so :j :T :j and even better if you are spreading your wisdom to others in the real world as well as online :)

my freezer needs a makeover - all your chat has given me a shove. I need to be brutal and get it tidied and stocked with lovely things I can turn into other lovely things when appropriate :)

How exciting!!! Good luck with the job hunting. I'm now trying to decipher the cryptic comments but it sounds amazing regardless!

You are a true money mentor, your food bill for the month is staggeringly good!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

Hey all, hungover today  so just festering and may go and food shop in a bit.

Had a great time at my old colleagues and enjoyed the show on Thursday too. Off to another friends for dinner tonight. Got the wine in fir that and so have the gays. It could well be a bit messy so nowt planned for tomorrow apart from a bit of light festering, listening to EP on Radio 2 and maybe some cooking if I can be bothered!

Money is not ace. I only have £5.50 of this weeks £60 left already and i only got it out on Thursday :rotfl:but have done a lot and dont have loads of plans this week so I'll be fine.

My sis arrives home from Oz on Friday for 3 weeks.:j Very excited and I'm off so am going to meet her at the airport and head down to Mum and Dads with her. Im taking her out for dinner on Monday as its her bday on Sunday. I've got a deal if course :D and the resturant is a fave of mine so looking forward to that.

Hve £200 in the pot for my friends wedding which is in 2 weeks time. Still nedd to get my spray tan and haircut (both booked) and buy a clutch bag for the day and her gift so this may be a bit tight. Should have had £50 more but another friend is having a hen in July and have had to pay £44 for that. MAY borrow from buffer to give me more cash for this month and pay it back next but I'll see how I go.

Love my friends but weddings aren't cheap are they? Feel a bit Carrie Brashaw about this and am considering throwing a huge bash for my 40 and fabulous party in 7 years and having some sort of gift list. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:As I wont be getting married or having 3 kids, tis the least they can all do. Im joking (sort of!)

Loving my new freezer and all is well, apart from the wretched hangover.

Feeling a bit less rotten now and am showered and made up. Off to my friends in a bit but going to get some food bits in first.

Listening to Lady Gaga's 'I was born this way'. Love it!

Meeting your sis at the airport stood out to me - I *love* meeting people at the airport! I like flying too, of course, but its so brill to get to the airport and hug right there... have a lovely time tonight.

Hope that your messy night last night hasn't resulted in too much of a headache today!

Keep up the good work :T

Hypno Im actually not too bad! Didn't get up til 11.30 though which is most unlike me. Just cooked myself a full Scottish and planning to pop a chilli in the SC later. Got LOADS to do over the next few days to get myself and my house ready for the rest of the month.

In very exciting news my friend donated me her breadmaker last night!!! She never uses it and so has given it to me. Also...Liza Minelli is coming to Glasgow next month and I have a ticket!!! Im going with one of the gays. Hes put it on his CC and Im to pay him back next month. Yippee!!!!
