    For Souk and Friends

You probably already know but there are loadsa Citylink bus journeys going for £1/£2 Glasgow to Edinburgh/Skye/Aberdeen etc etc. There will be other routes too. You just type in discoverscotland in the code bit :). Note it only works if you book singles, it charges full price if you select return :)

Ok, now I feel left out, have never been to liverpool :(

I have tried stardrops & used it on floors if they need a good clean, but otherwise I tend to use ecover products , any product with that scary orange & black cross symbol scares me ;).

Know what you mean about the break - great if you have stuff to do, otherwise a bit unsettling

    Morning all!

Off today. Didn't get paid so heres the money situation:

Bank: £1.22 I'll try not to spend it all at once! :rotfl:
    Purse: £22.11

I'm off to my friends tonight for dinner so will spend £3.99 on a bottle of vino  and £2.20 on my train ticket. This will leave me £15.92 plus my £1.22. Im considering going out tomorrow night as its a friends leaving do and I only need stay as long as I can afford to. I could take wine :beer:with me as they're getting ready at the shop which would keep costs down.

I do need to get some food bits in as I have loads of carby stuff and some tins but not anything that works together so we'll see how it goes.

There's also the possibility that it will go into my account tomorrow, which would be very lovely but it's okay if it doesn't. :D

What a boring post but the end is nigh and at least Im still able to get out and see folk. I need to do a bit of cleaning today and get the flat sorted as Im working from tomorrow throught til next Friday and then I have a weekend off. X

Have been feeling a bit low of late and I know why so think I will deffo go to the leaving do.

The girls I met at that job were lovely and I fitted. I deffo dont fit where I am, much as I like it and am good at it. I dont want a life that would make me fit in but it does get a bit tedious at times always being the outsider.

I have decided that I need to ramp it up a bit and be a bit more fabulous at all times. More red lippy, more painted toenails and more celebrating the life that I have. When people who dont particularly get my family ask my mum about us she answers that we 'Live our lives in glorious technicolour'. This is a great thing but it has not been quite so shiny and bright of late so it's up to me to get into my groove again.

Need a bit of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moOamKxW844 and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6lxASAsI7c&feature=related.

    Love your links :)

Of course you set me off finding this 'glorious technicolor' lyrics link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0kHKijb8jI

Boring black/white/grey lives are no where near as much fun as 'technicolor', hope your turning up the brightness works. I think I'm probably still a bit pastelish, but trying to improve it :)

Aw Souk, sorry that you are feeling down. You are so right about fitting in. I miss my old colleagues because they just "got" me and accepted me for who I am. In fact it was them that helped me to understand who I am. Loving the tunes, how inspirational. I especially like the way Lisa puts that smile on before walking onto stage. The number of times I have stopped at a door, taken a deep breath, put on a smile and then breezed through the door. You are right though it can be tiring. It seems to me that you are ready for that change a coming. Just a question to put out there. I know that your contract doesnt finish until sept? but if the offer of the other job where you used to work and really liked it, is only available earlier is there any reason that you cant move sooner? Would that help cheer you up or is it just a frumpy, feeling bleurgh kind of a day today?

Just thought we're a bit low/drained here too. I think it's partly the uncertainty about what comes next, even though we know it's the right time for a move it does gradually get to you a bit.

The weather isn't helping much here either, cold, wet miserable, feels like it's back to winter again :(

So what I'm trying to say is it's probably a few things together, and it's only human for it to get to you a bit, just look after yourself.

Yep se, the weather definetely hasn't helped and Cheri, it would be a different branch I'd be going to with different folk so dont think that it would be the same at all. Just feeling a bit yeuch, need to get on with eating better and perk myslef out of this. Im very good at that. My sis being over will help too and have ironed lots of nice outfits now so I feel a bit better. Thanks X
