Just saw the argument on the Matrix, so sorry that somebody made you
I hate it when that happens on the internet because we have enough problems to be dealing with, with real life people and internet is supposed to be a fun break from all that.
I found the post that upset you and I too find it a bit insensitive, not because of your choice to be single but because more people than ever live alone now so it's actually very normal to do so. Sure not everyone who lives alone is doing so by choice but it's still pretty common

Thanks all, feel so much better now. Bit upset over something on another thread but the poster has apologised (and is from a place where they are a bit blunt!) so all is forgiven.

Hey all, much happier today and all at one with the world.
Money situation is not brilliant but I have a cunning plan. Im going to emoty the pig and the June fund and use these for spends as I have afr more money floating around in June than I do now and seems daft to struggle. So after I do that I will have:
Purse: £40 to last til Thursday 19th. I plan to spend £5 on pizza and cider  for myself for watching Eurovision with and £18 on Sunday with Flyin Fresian (we're having lunch) max and this will leave me £17 for the following week.
Bank: £54.34 to last from the 19th til the 31st . If I add the £17 to this though it makes just over £71 which doesn't seem as bad.
I have a weekend off in here though on the 21st and 22nd and then a night out :jin Liverpool. I have requested that we go somewhere cheap as a team so hopefully this will not be too bad.
I also need to buy food though as I dont have a lot in but need to meal plan around this too.
I do have a £10 reward due from mysurvey but not sure when this will hit my account.
I also have a couple of bits on ebay but they dont finish til Sunday so not sure about this either.
If the worst comes to the worst there's always the £50 holiday clothes money which I can borrow say £20 from til next month.
I'm not going to starve but I certainly wont be out gallivanting every night either!
Having said that I am down south with work next Wednesday night and the following Monday and they will both be all expenses paid affairs and a wee change of scenery.
Just seems like a looong time til payday!

Hope you guys have a lovely time Sunday. £20 each should get ye a fabulous meal. The "champagne taste, lemonade budget" shopping style comes naturally to MSE people

Hi Souk, try Bistro Jacques in Hardman Street, Liverpool, 0151 709 1998. I don't work for them btw! Very good food at MSE prices. Just around the corner from Hope Street, which has a Cathedral at both ends (a former Bishop said "two Cathedrals joined by Hope"). Also in Hope Street is the Philharmonic pub, which tourist groups stop at to visit the marbled gents loos
