If I HAD to do it for work I'd think about it but not to drive to the country as what the chuff would I do when I got there?! (Confused smiley) And dont all start saying walks and all that, I mean stuff that I'd actually like :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Sometimes the country has a nice country house hotel with a spa, fluffy robes and treatments. They even sometimes have a lovely restaurant....
I'm a total townie too. I live quite central in London and love it....although I know a lot of folks would find it too noisy, dirty and too crime ridden!
I'm not a total country hater though, I love going for weekends away and I do like walking - I even have proper walking trousers and tops and walking boots.....:o
Good luck for interview, even if money no good at least it is good practice.I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction 0 0

Hi all, thanks for the good wishes.
The interview went really well but not really sure if anything will come of it as there are lots of problems in the store at the minute. Basically the Manager is going on mat leave next month and the Deputy wants the job but is on long term sick so she'll have to put someone in there soon and I'm not free til September. Dont know if she'd put someone in there temp to tide her over/develop them and then give me the job later for 9 months Maternity cover but she'll call next week and let me know what she's thinking. Not chewing my arm off about it as I've got work til Sept/October here but it's an option and was interview practice if nothing else.
Had a nice night, cocktail after work  then off to my friends for food and to do the bedtime stories for her wee boy. He is a wee lamb and great fun.
Money situation is...I need to stop spending. Just because my two mates have just had a big redundancy payout doesn't mean that I have!!!!
Off to get showered and then out for a coffee and a wander round a museum with one of the boys and might do a bit of holiday shopping later. X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Well done, you can never tell with interviews eh?
Hopefully there will be more opportunities in the meantime.
I still have to go holiday shopping, feel it will all be from Prim though as soo poor just now0

I dont want to do it but I'll need to talk money :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
 It's not good.
Purse: I now have £39 in my purse to last til Thur 19th  as I spent a bit of next weeks money yesterday on a cocktail  and on getting to and from my friends last night. Had a fab night. Also spent a couple of pounds today as I went to the Burrell collection and had a cuppa and some caramel shortcake there!
Groceries: Am now overbudget at £61.18 as I bought some food today and went to the Chinese supermarket too. I have a right supply of noodles and some rice wine vinegar, soy sauce etc to do for a bit. Not too upset about this per se as I was underspent by nearly £20 last month but I will need more food and it will have to come from the spendy budget
Wedding budget: Bought my shoes for the wedding and they're lovely. They were £28 so spent the £18 that was left in the budget and took £10 from my mysurvey account too.
Holiday Clothes Fund: Has still got £50 in it. I may have to borrow a wee teeny bit of it to see me through but I hope not to take too much.
HOPING for 3 NSD's now tomorrow, Thursday and Friday but we'll see. XXX'The road to a friends house is never long'0

            good luck with the NSDs!
but sounds like you have spent wisely and enjoyed lots of lovely things! better than spending it on the gas bill or something dull (but essential!)
I am feeling for a couple of nights on pasta/pesto this month! cheap but not sustainable long term! 0 0

At least you have some nice food in to make the NSDs easier
I've never been to the Burrell Collection, should pop that on my to do list.
Funny LHG mentioned Pesto, have had a craving for it all day, maybe cos Sacla is half price in the co-op...0

haha, it was half price in Sainsburys last month so guess what I have in my cupboard! :rotfl:0
