What the heck is going on with Amazon and City link

City link have had my daughters tv since 17th should be with us on 21st

There web site claims no issues in my area, Amazon said if I dont get it by 29th then email them, great that is

I understand the snow causes problems but why state no issues and its still saying delivery by 21st that's 4 days ago it last got updated?

If I had a dixons I buy same tv from them as its same price. No Dixons now and Currys are £117 more for a 32" tv

I been waiting in all this time for the tv

Last time I buy anything I depend on from them I can fully understand problems with weather my issues is with not been told reliable so kept waiting in the hope. Cant contact couriers by phones lines always busy and dont answer emails

I have ordered things from Amazon a few days ago and one item came same with ebay.

City link are an absolute waste of time my daughter ordered some dvds from amazon they were put out for delivery with city link, they were days late kept looking at the tracking info and it said out on van, so we just assumed it was being delivered. Then when we had a closer look it said back in depot, so i rang them up and they said they could not find address we ended up getting a relative to pick item up from the preston depot because it was being sent back to amazon the next day as they had, had it in the depot for 7 days. I asked why they had not phoned to ask where address was and they said they had, but daughter is in all the time as she cannot work as she is waiting for a major eye operation and she received no phone call. They just lied from start to finish. Sorry this does not help you at the moment but i think the more complaints Amazon get they will use another courier.

last year i was waiting till about 5 days before xmas for all my orders to arrive , this year i very much doubt they will all get here , i blame the lazy delivery men and postmen , !!!!!! why dont they just do what they're paid to do and deliver our stuff?

I think what you have said is very unfair considering the weather some of us have had, it's not the delivery drivers/companies fault that we have had a lot of snow, Would you want to drive for miles in the snow slipping and sliding everywhere?? or walk the streets delivering letters in this? they are doing their best.

On that note My Bhs order was delivered by a lovely driver this morning :) who struggled to get in and out of our street.

Just waiting for thorntons now, have rung thorntons as my delivery has been on the van for 3 days according to the hermes website :) I've been offered a refund if it's not here by tomorrow, they have a huge backlog to deliver, if its not here I'll wait as it's only chocolate, people will understand if their pressies are a bit late :)
