I am SOOOOO fed up with M and S. After speaking to CS yesterday, who said my order looked fine and should be with me in a few days.
I received an e-mail today saying the luxury shirt I ordered for DH's Birthday (on 09 Jan) is now out of stock, as well as some other items.
This is the first time I have ordered from M and S Online but if this is the way they conduct business it will be my last. I can't believe a store like M and S doesn't have a "live" ordering system or fails to advise customers that it is merely a lottery if orders are fulfilled.
Now I'm back to the drawing board and will have to make a trip into town looking for a pressie.
Not impressed.

Well. My order has been delivered finally and I am a bit disappointed with the stuff I've got. I had bought some dresses for work and a few tops - but mostly the quality of the material is poorer than usual and some of it just looks really cheap!

I'm afraid most of the items will be going back.

I've received some of mine and I agree with you. M&S seem to be cutting quality and hoping that we don't notice.

I ordered a dressing gown the same as one I got last year but a different colour. However when comparing them, the newer one is thinner fabric and poor quality compared to the one I've been wearing.

I also got one which was supposedly £120 originally and reduced to £25. To me it doesn't even look worth the reduced price so will be going back. If they put it back out instore at a fiver I might buy it then
