Ordered a pair of shoes christmas eve and receieved them today. Didn't realise they were having problems fulfilling orders, feel lucky now!

That's absolutely my philosphy too, after being disappointed too many times.

I'm so sorry that others on here are having to find out the hard way how M&S (well, Amazon on their behalf) sometimes treat their online sales customers.

I'm a new to m+s online christmas sale customer, placed a big order the night the links were posted on here (i'm lost on my days atm!)
I've had 3 emails this afternoon saying things are no longer in stock and was just coming on here to have a moan, but just read all the above posts and i see i should have expected it. Its really bad and very disapointing, i actually went to the store sale but didn't buy somethings because i thought they were on the way already:mad:.

now i haven't got any bargain wrapping paper for next year, christmas towels to put in my downstairs loo or dangly santas and reindeers to hang from anywhere!!:p seriously though there were also jogging bottoms and other bits for my 2 kids that were also in store that i would have bought if i'd known!

Donna, did you know that if you no longer want the wrapping paper, as long as you return a complete order to m&s they will also refund the original p&p costs?:)

Just had one of the dreaded emails too, ordered 6 items, 3 been cancelled, lets see what happens now!

Or if she drops them a quick email they will normally refund the postage under the circumstances.

I gave these a try last week and unsuprisingly they cancelled my order, which is no doubt why they are now showing as in stock again. Stupidly they have not corrected the pricing error on site. I've tried again, nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Cheers for the replies I might try emailing them as I don't get time to go into town much, due to excess work these days

If only they could get the stock counts right to avoid disappointment.

Had half of my first order, rest disappeared and the second order pre xmas is still sat on my account.

Was hoping to get the wrapping paper, had a few bits but rest disappeared. Not seen wrap on sale anywhere else online bar BHS.

Managed to get my 2nd Christmas Eve order - all arrived yesterday and nothing appears to be missing. Still waiting on my first order though, which was apparantly dispatched first a couple of days before?!! Will wait and see what happens!
