Yes, that's right then, they are advertising a further 30% off all sale prices on men's suits today HERE.

I placed an order and it said its due to arrive February 17th

I hope that's wrong... They do put the items aside for you once you checkout don't they? Just wondering if using 'next day' would have made a difference?
Got an email to say my order has all been cancelled ("no longer available") except the £1 wrapping paper I added to the basket, and I can't cancel that item now even though its ridiculous to pay to have that shipped.. :(
  • How can an item be cancelled that was ordered in first half hour of sale and subsequently appeared in 30% reductions after Christmas? It doesn't make any sense. They clearly don't keep to order dates. That's probably why I haven't had the first two orders submitted 24th, but have received the last one. Nuts!

I've only had one cancellation email so far but I expect there will be more to follow. I placed three large orders on Christmas Eve and none of them have been dispatched yet.

The online sale looks as if it is well and truly over :( It's normally possible to find sale items on the website with a little searching but I can't find any. All of the sale items I had saved in my basket (ready for further reductions) are suddenly showing as out of stock since this morning.

I placed 3 orders fairly early on Christmas Eve. I have actually been to HDNL in Wembley to pick up 2 orders as they were due for delivery to my office, which is closed until 4 January. Part of one order has been dispatched by Royal Mail, and the other order has also been dispatched. I only had one cancellation email, which for me, is a result. In the last sale, my scheduled delivery was after some of the items I had ordered had been further reduced. Some very nice CS actually manually adjusted the prices to reflect the reductions.

I have just spoken to a nice CS who has refunded me 2 of the 3 delivery charges.

This is my first (probably the last) hassle-free M&S sale order!

Happy new year to one and all.
  • A couple of years ago I placed an order as soon as the sale went live and the whole order just sat there awaiting dispatch for 2 weeks. When i rang they told me they had no stock of any of the items!! Of course i wasn't very happy as I could have bought the items when I went into the shop but didn't thinking it was all on order. They did give me £10 credit as they did with some other people on here but no where near made up the amount lost.

Now when I place a sale order with M & S I work on the assumption that I am not going to get anything, if something does turn up it is a bonus. They still do not work on the orders as they get them, even after years of complaints! Maybe one day they will get their system sorted and work on the orders in the order they were placed.

4 items have now been cancelled off this years Christmas eve order and I have a total of 5 items dispatching soon! Better than nothing I suppose :)

I was lucky this year and received my full order - and the cashmere dressing gown is to die for! I would never dream of spending £199 on a dressing gown, but it is certainly worth a lot more than the £25 I paid for it. ;)
    Gone ... or have I?
