Thorntons winter wonderland hamper £32 next day delivery

Great Bargain, but don't think you'll get it for xmas. I placed an order on line on the 13th and it's STILL not here yet. The order was not processed till the 16th, and they have no idea when it will be delivered. If you go for standard delivery it goes by Hermes, which is not the most reliable carrier. I have rung them numerous times, holding for at least 20 minutes each time to get through to someone, and getting a different story each time. Last night I registered a complaint with them, and eventually they said they would send replaceents by DHL on a 48hr delivery, and IF the first order turns up, I can keep them, so not too bad, but it does make me wonder about ordering online again with them.

Also be warned, when I was offered a refund, I was told it can take up to 30 days to get back to my account!

Also, just looking at the price, I wonder if the original price is correct, £120 seems an awful lot for what you get. & I'm pretty sure it was £60 when I looked at it earlier in the week

Thanks so much OP - I was due to visit Thornton's at lunchtime and some of what I was going to get is in the hamper!

Oh dear, good luck with a delivery from DHL I am waiting for two packages which they have shown as out for delivery for two days and then next morning they show as Delayed!

When I get to checkout it says delivery 11th Jan (next day delivery too!) so those of you looking for xmas pressies or even New Years treats may be disappointed xxx

THanks op have ordered dont really need it but will be a little extra treat for all of us, just hope its delievered on time for Christmas if not it will be a yummy treat to beat the January blues!!

Has anyone added up the cost of it if you brought it all seperatly? I would but my brain is still in bed atm need a bit more caffine first!!1

My Winter Wonderland order from December 2nd never arrived. It has been out with Hermes then was transferred to UPS. It is still showing out for delivery today.

I gave up on it arriving days ago as I needed it for school pressies. After being on hold and hung up on several times, I eventually managed to get through to request a refund. I am still waiting for the money to be credited to my account.

Hope other people have a bit more luck. I certainly wont be using thorntons online again
