Thorntons winter wonderland hamper £32 next day delivery

I really dont want to pour cold water on anything but thought I should let you know so dont you rely totally on getting things in time and then having to run out last minute I ordered last week and my order still hasnt come despite on the order details online it shows that the due date was 17th. I emailed and heard nothing so after a couple of days I phoned yesterday - had to wait ages but finally got through - the girl answering had obviously had a few calls before of the same nature and told me it hadnt even left them at that point - she could put an expedite on it and it would arrive in 48 hours or she could cancel it. I explained that some of it had been for pressies and I had to had to go and replace them - she said no problem I will cancel - whoa hang on - how about a reduction - she said I can deduct the postage and wont charge you for the expedited delviery - now that was naughty so I said I wouldnt expect to pay for it and I would like £10 off my order - she went off and checked and came back and said ok you can have the ten off but no free delivery. I went for it. ANway we were chatting whilst she was completing the necessary screens and she was telling me about how many parcels hadnt elft yet - and how lots of people were going to be disappointed. Bless her she gave me the free delivery as well after all.

I am hoping it will arrive 22nd but who knows anyway just wanted you to know so you didnt rely totally on them coming and then having to rush out christmas eve for something else - good luck to all xx

Not so sure about the next day delivery at the moment depends where you live you may get it for Christmas.
I have been expecting two packages for days with no joy they went out and back to the depot on Saturday and Monday.

I ordered on the 12th, still no delivery. I emailed on 16th still no reply. When I rang they were quite unhelpful. I won't be using them again.

Hmmmm would really like this for hubby but wonder if it will be here in time. i live in leicester and we've hardly had any snow but obv other areas are affected and i've been waiting on some parcels since 1st dec hmmmm should i risk it i wonder

We've had no snow problems. When I rang the guy on the phone said demand was high and they had to make up more hampers which is why it was taking so long.
