earlier today and i got an order number, i paid by paypal

I ordered, but as next day delivery means nothing in this weather, I won't be sorry if it's cancelled - we have plenty of choc anyway, and the thought of wading through £100 of Thorntons just as I'm meant to be starting post-xmas diet is frightening!

i paid for next day, should be delivered on 23 but customer services says there over 1000 out of stock, dont know how we ordered it

Do you mean they have let 1000 orders go through after it went OOS?

I was told it was a price mistake by customer services(I didn't call to alert them to it before anyone shouts), anyone know the truth of it?

If they are so behind then why are they still taking orders? They must have known they'd have no chance of fulfilling the orders for Xmas, the weather hasn't exactly been a 'surprise'. My order is with Hermes, only took them until the 4th business day to get it out of the factory, but I'm not going to be here to accept it! And Hermes are instructed to leave in a secure place so my order could be sitting in the porch for a week (it's not secure but they've left it there before).

I have no idea if I'll get mine or not (ordered early this morning) but I think it was worth a shot at that price!

If they do cancel, I'd would say it is more likely due to the misprice than stock levels, though, as surely most of the contents are available and in stock as individual items?

I'm hoping that they might honour them, despite the misprice, since it is so close to Xmas they'll have to reduce any unsold Xmas items to shift them anyway in a few days. So fingers crossed!

Mine is due to be delivered on Christmas Eve, but I'm not holding my breath!
