Bitsy - I feel the same as you, full of a cold :( I'm ravenous today which I'm taking to be a good sign that's it's on it's way out.

    Evening all,

Cold as charity here to-day, we haven't had any snow but round Dublin city (15 miles away)is chaotic, trucks jack-knifed all over the place...we are in the path over next 48 hours so expecting to be stuck in house again....water gone everywhere, so we are going to be out in the morning with heaters, hairdryers, whatever it takes, can't survive without water.

LO chicken with potatoes, broccoli, leek and white sauce for dinner, really enjoyed it and had fruit cake for pudding...feeling peckish again now for some reason, not sure what I'll have to eat but need something.

Hope that DS2 will manage to get home on Wednesday....not sure which airport he is coming from...think that Stansted is still open so hopefully its there...he can go to DD2 who, thankfully is not travelling this year but he provides us with quite a bit of amusement so would miss him.

Still very little wrapping done, I hate it and usually only get round to it on Christmas Eve...should do some practicing so that I might get better at it....must do it tomorrow, but have to go to brother's in morning for shower as didn't have one to-day and feel the need badly!

Hugs to all in need or want of one, thoughts very much with that family Taplady.

    Stay safe, keep warm
