    evening!

been snowing here this afternoon - roads not good at all, glad to get home from work.
Am supposed to be going out tonight to a meal in a country hotel but am not too keen to drive there as its down a country lane.

Got to collect DS2 from work later too.

DS1 is stopping in Worcester tonight - roads too dodgy for him to get back and he's had to cut his radio show short so he can get out of the studio as its in the middle of nowhere.

heard some awful news this morning, an ex colleauges 2 teenage daughters were in an accident Friday night and one of them has died and the other is seriously injured. What a terrible tragedy for the family. Their car skidded on ice into the path of another car.

No time for much on the OS front. Havent done a thing at home due to work and havent a clue whats for their tea:D must get my act together.
Havent read the thread yet - hope everyone is safe and well x

Taplady - that is terrible news about the teenagers. What a tragic accident.

Please take care when you go out. I hate driving in snow and avoid it if at all possible.

    Evening all:j:j

Well its very cold here and its also been snowing most of the afternoon. It stoped about 5:00ish. We were told to go home from work at 4:00 as the snow was comming down quite hard. There is a shift there working tonight from 2:00pm until 12:00am they should be able to get home with some ease as there will be very little traffic around. But i home the roads are not to frozen up for them.
Most of the work force got into work this morning but i think it may be harder tomorrow and some may just give up. We break up from work on wednesday anyway and many who made it in wish that they had not botherd.

Now the twins. they are at my moms and dads. They have them every monday and tuseday as my wife works. But we did not think that my mom and dad would be able to get to our house. My wife would not be able to walk them down to there house on her own this morning so we decided to walk them down yesterday afternoon while there were two of us to do it. They stoped last night and i have spoken to my mom and they will also stop tonight. We are hoping to get them back here tomorrow night. But it all depend on the wether. my wife dont work on wednsdays and im also breaking up that day so they might end up stopping untill wed afternoon.

To add to that iv got a cold. niota bad one but its still there and im hopeing that it dont get any worse.

Stir fry chicken for dinner tonight.

Have a graet even ing evryone:j:j

Sis on Islay had the back of her car caught by a gust of wind on Friday & lost control on the ice:eek: so her car is a write off & she is off work with whiplash, we do not need any more disasters.
On a more positive note Bil & Sil to be have announced they are pregnant:T 1st scan today and all is well :)

OUCH to your poor sis and her whiplash. She's lucky it wasn't worse.
Congrats on being an Auntie x

How tragic :( My thoughts are with the family xx

Having cajun turkey as I couldn't be bothered to make meatballs :o
Made a chocolate and marzipan loaf today and went for a walk with the kids over fields again. Very pretty if bloomin' cold!

Still feel pants and seem full of cold more than ever :( At this rate can't see me being well by Christmas. Working up until 23rd, off Xmas eve and not working between Christmas and New year so looking forward to a rest. Well as much as you can rest with my two ;)

Sainsbury's rang me to say they couldn't deliver so I have the option of picking up the shopping or cancelling the order  They've refunded the delivery charge and because I chose the first option I didn't have the hassle of fighting my way round the supermarket. I could get used to someone doing my shopping for me for free ;)

Stay safe and wrap up warm.
