Well, the snow here has turned to pouring rain. That'll be fun if it freezes later! But inland, it's quite bad apparently.

Have spent the last hour or so going through the Christmas presents and wrapping them up. I need two more so I think I'll head out to the shops in a mo and get them before stuff starts to freeze again. I need to fill the car up with petrol just in case anyway. I might even get all the necessary veg for Saturday in as well while I'm there. That'll save having to face ridiculous queues later in the week.

Window sil and window now all nice and clean. :D Next is the kitchen table and it is full off crap.

Greenbee you need to put all your energy into yourself now and he could really do with doing the same. Christmas i would think will be the breaking point for him, the pressure of family and everyone stuck in the same place. He could go 2 ways, 1 he remains a doormat or 2 he stands up for himself and say's enough is enough. If he goes down number 1 road he's not worthy of you anyway.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Greenbee, <<hugs>> not a lot I can say about such a carpy situation except do be kind to yourself. You seem to be spending a lot of time and energy on others atm, so perhaps it's time to think of you and your needs? Thinking of you hon.
Thanks... erm... that's exactly what OH says :o I need to concentrate on myself rather than him!

We have more snow ... and my brother informed me that it was -6 here so I wasn't to go out. The forecast did indicate that where there was rain the temperature should be staying above freezing for a few days, so fingers crossed. I'm hoping OH gets thawed out too, and extracts himself from his current situation. Even if its to go and stay with his parents...

Not making much progress on work this morning :o or anything else...

I managed to do some washing and S+S the kitchen including the dishes and the paint pots and brushes that DD was using yesterday......how did you do JJ?

Sorted out 2 of my kitchen drawers looking for a mobile that works! Mine has suddenly stopped rining this morning - just vibrates and it already was a bit dicky when charging so I need another one. Thing is I actually had another phone when my contract changed but didn't use it then when DH broke the screen on his he decided it was 1 of his old ones - even though I insisted it wasn't - so he's got that one.
