I Owe Unlisenced Loan Sharks What To Do

There are plenty of people who post on here that have got into debt by living the high life, fancy holidays, cars, or whatever thier choice of enjoyment was.
Like another MSE said she wouldn't of got into the mess she is in if it was easy to give her much loved life style.
The point is that they all post here for help and support to get out of the mess they are in regardless of bad habbits, addictions or plain greed.0 -
I know it's not the normal advice given here, but I would consider getting a secured loan to pay them off, I'd rather owe the legal loan sharks than the type the op is talking about.0

First things first if you gambled your way in to such big debts and have stopped completely because of your little one WELL DONE!!!
But don't panic that won't help anything but neither will burying your head in the sand. Take the advice already given and act as soon as you can.
GOOD LUCK!!You should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs

Bloody hell, the police will not be interested until they actually do something to you, i'd get that house on the market tomorrow morning and in the meantime move in with parents. Nobody would harm your wife and baby, but you might get concrete boots.0

Since you seem to mix in a murky world, could you hire someone to "take them out""Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.0 -
I admit that I misunderstood johnny's first post (I mean him wanting to sell his house to set them free from heavies rather than repay debt) but even if he is panicking and thinking of running away I don't think he deserves some of the comments made in this thread - I thought the idea was to help not beat people over the head? You should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs

How is the OP mixing in a murky world?
We are not here to judge but to help with genuine advice where possible.
Like I say to my 11yr DD "If you have nothing nice to say, DONT say anything at all!!"
The OP will be too worried to post again if you all continue having a go and being sarky and this may make him make a terrible decision. Do we want this on our conscious

Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind, and of course the truth hurts, but I guess so too is a knee-capping.:eek:0 -
