I think you're talking rubbish too. But i'm right and you're not. Just because it's in the T&Cs doesn't mean it's legal.0 -
The loss of bargain clincher was the Terms and conditions the website had, which i believe was that a legally binding deal was present on acceptance of payment.
I would check the terms and conditions of the seller / amazon etc.0 -
Just a thought, didnt you think of sharing the bargain with others? then if you received it, others also had a chance of a bargain. Yet you come on and complain when your order is cancelled, expecting others to help you!0

I was teasing, not being serious
I found a right bargain earlier on Amazon, price changed by the time I paid as I was faffing ggrrrr0 -
am i being stupid??as you have despatch email am assuming its on its way to you..?
i got the despatch email then a few hours later got another email explaining there had been a pricing error and they were cancelling my order.
They said the price should have been £113 and not £11. The thing is it also gave the percentage of discount i was going to receive from the original price of £199 (98%). They said if i placed the order agiain i could have free delivery. (value £10.35)0 -
If it is Amazon themselves, contract is upon despatch email. Which seller was it? Their terms should be on their storefront.0

Cubegame, in my experience you can argue ONLY if you can prove the item has been dispatched. A few of us went up against Argos around this time last year with a Nintendo Dsi, the clincher was the dispatch status. If we could prove that, they honoured the price, for people whose items didnt reach that stage, they didnt get honoured.
There will be T&c's around pricing error, but the contract is formed upon item despatch status and so is 'more' enforceable. However its up to you to carry on fighting and them if they want to keep their reputation.
If you have notification of dispatch, and i dont think what you posted is enough, you could technically fight it, Pixmania did this with a TV but i dont think people got too far, its too much of a grey area and the expense in going legal isnt really worth the time n effort. Wouldnt even bother though if you havent go thte all important despatch notice, as before then the contract IS NOT FORMED.0 -

Yes i did think of sharing it with others but did not have the time to login to mse yesterday morning. It was my intention to put it on here upon my return in the afternoon, but by then they had sent me the email to cancel so what would have been the point.0 -
