Evening all
Loads of snow here. Have had a very, cold but Christmassy time in Disneyland Paris, our coach driver was amazing he did a sterling job of getting us there and back even though we encountered some really nasty ice and snow. Was -16 when we arrived at Disney! By the time we left to come home it was snowing a blizzard and we had 6 inches in about 2 hours.....was supposed to be home by 10.30/11pm but didn't get back until 4.30am. DD's have only just woken up.
Despite the travel chaos the trip was lovely and has really made my Christmas."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Pap, great to see you back, and brilliant about your news!
Pooky, glad you had a good time.
It took my sister 11 hours to get from South London to Bradford last night
I'm trying to decide whether to go out to the Christmas Market, it's the last night tonight so some things I liked might be heavily reduced, and it'd be good to have a glass of mulled wine and a frankfurter for tea, but it's cold out there and I'm a bit skint from buying my sister's presents from the parents (although I'll get the money back next week). Hmmm.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Hey all from snowy Kent. THink there's about 5 inches out there right now. Took us 6 hours to get here, including the taxi stopping at the top of the hill so we had to walk in deep-ish snow whilst idiots were skidding round a car park. Saw about 3 cars nearly hit things, and about a mile and a half of road just covered with cars....** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I do it all because I'm scared.

Beanie, I decided not to go - I'd just have wasted money on things I don't need and sweets.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
