I'm doing ok. We walked down to the village this morning cos we didn't want to get the car out. Did our shopping and walked home. About ½ hr later, I realised that I needed to go out to get something vital and that we were going to have to get the car out cos we would have to go to Clevedon. At least the main road was clear.
Go on - spill about your full-time job - pm me if you want. Really really pleased for you..
Ohhh I bet it looks beautiful doown there. Its nice up here, well until you reach slush city :rotfl: What a pain about forgeting something, glad it wasn't too bad though. The main roads are clear here too but I think thats because they are being used, its the same as last year.
Oh its not exciting, still where I was originally but work in two places so effectively two jobs. I love the new one though and I am hoping I can just move over to that department. The only real problem is some days I work 12hours and others 5, however I am happy to deal with that as I just wanted a f/t job
Thanks Shoe gal
Oh and the other 'big' news is I have moved, still with family but moved

I'm pleased that work has sorted something out for you at last. The move sounds interesting - have you moved far? Or can you still do that lovely walk around BC?0

Took enough though
No not far, about 1.5miles, we have moved fuurther into the city centre. I can still get to BC, I can walk from here as the woods connect it. The area is great too, no young children, silence at night and the people who back us are below us so no-one overlooks us. Bliss

Morning all. its still bright and white here.
Still not looking forward to having to get out there tomorrow morning but I'll just have to be brave and grit my teeth and get on with it. The main roads are salted its just getting out of our place onto the main roads that causes me the stress.
Hope everyone has a good day.
I now need coffee to get me going.0 -
Morning All
Icy, snowy roads so won't be going anywhere today. My sister unexpectedly knocked on my front door last night, she had abandoned her car after it had taken her 2 hours to do a 20 minute journey, and was walking the rest of the way home. She didn't have her mobile with her, so was asking me to phone her husband to tell him what was happening!
I don't know why so many people were out in their cars yesterday, it was head to toe traffic outside my house with buses and fire engines joining in as well. Buses don't normally use this road and it is a hill so they couldn't get very far, but were causing problems for the cars etc. I was just glad to be in.OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j
