    Hi All,

Lots of snow here so time to dig out my snow boots. I wanted to go to the 99p shop but need to get DH to drive me in the 4x4 as I don't want to get stuck in the hire car.

Only a few more days of hire car use left! Then I will be car-less until it is all sorted out.

Snow appears to have stopped falling for now so need to get on with making shopping list!

  • I've got three inches!! :rotfl: My parents are in London and they've just sent me a picture of their garden, a good half a foot down there. I hope it melts by tuesday or it's going to be an interesting drive down!!

Glad your OH got away okay LMC. Try and enjoy having some "you" time - whenever my OH is away I try and arrange a few girly nights etc, takes the edge of it.

I really needed to go into town today and do a few bits, but I don't think I can be bothered in the snow - I'll wait until monday and just stay snuggled by the fire with my blanket! :D OH is doing his voluntary work today so it's just me and my buddies (the fridge and TV!).

    Have a good weekend all,

    Dreamer xx

    Hello All

Been busy doing housework stuff here (so exciting!) but it is nice to see the front room tidy for once, without all of my daughter's craft stuff all over the place.

We don't have any snow here yet but there is supposed to be some on its way - it is really cold though. I only ventured into the garden to put out some stuff and that was enough for me.

Well better carry on and do some more.

lmc we have about 12" in some places, none of the main roads are clear either. Just walked into town to stock up on dog food etc before the next lot of snow hits, had a bit of a fright on the way back, was waiting to cross the road and a car lost control and was heading straight for me, luckily the driver regained control and stopped , that me now its starting to ice over I'm not going back out.

I just broke a chunk off a tooth on a bit of granola :(

Hopefully crashing the car/writing it off, losing my job and breaking my tooth makes three things and the bad luck is done with now.

I'm eating on the other side of my mouth for now and will need to see if I can see a dentist this week.
