It means that you can log in and out as many times as you like but they will only hold the goods in the basket for 20 minutes per shop.

Hi all
I have booked my slot - I got a text from them inviting me not an email ? On the page when it confirms you have your slot it also says preview sale- but when I click on link it just tells me that vip preview is only available to VIP customers who have pre booked a slot (which I have) has anyone else been able to preview.

I'm sure it is very dissapointing that you are a frequent shopper and you don't get a VIP sale slot. However there are several hundred thousand people who spend hundreds and hundreds with Next every year. Not all of them get a slot. If it was upto me, everyone would get a slot. But then, when the website crashed and all the popular items sold out in 5 minutes, there would be the accusations of "Scam" and "totally unprepared" for the volume of traffic.

My 17 year old son works for Next.
Does he get a VIP slot as he is staff and if so how does he go about getting one please ?

yes, I have been able to preview...

I'm really pleased I've got one - I spend loads in next and have only ever had one invite before and that was to a really naff sale, not a biggy like this one!

Just received a text message from Next and have booked my slot for the 22nd between 1800hrs and 2300hrs

I noticed this thread yesterday and so signed into my account this morning to find nothing but then read about people logging out and then back in again, so did this and have now booked my slot.
I spend a lot in Next sales but not an awful lot throughout the year on full price items so doubt that that is one of the criteria - maybe once you've been a vip you stay one?
