The price of a first-class stamp will rise by 5p to 46p and by 4p to 36p for second class from next April, Royal Mail has announced.
5% now plus a saving of over 12% (increase) could be a "grabbit".

I saw this on the BBC website about a month ago. Been buying them at Superdrug every week since lolSmashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j0

Are stamps included in the 10% off when using a Superdrug voucher code instore?
I always fill in the surveys so I can keep the voucher for my next visit, but I have never used it on stamps. It would be great if anyone can confirm that it is valid on stamps.

what you mean a whole 5p that is terrible watch out double dip is coming
mse tips
1.send next years xmas and birthday cards early and put do not open till on front of envelope.
2. use email its free in most cases
3. save up your old envelopes with stamps without much of a post mark on them get kettle out and get them off in batches if you really are that tight :rotfl:
hope this helps
p.s. hold onto you chairs next years big rises what the rest of us consider a real pain
1.petrol supposed to hit £1.50 per ltr . currently a 50ltr tank at £1.20 costs £60 to fill up and at £1.50 wil cost £75 to fill up only an extra £15 if using a tank a week as some of us do only an extra £780 per year
2. gas and electric wholesale price has gone up 45% on that basis a £780 bill goes up to £1131 differance of £351 per year
so with those 2 only an extra £1131 not taking in any account of council tax rises or say food shopping rises reckon it could be say at least another £2000-£2500 next year or there abouts so any other top tips you might have at all :question:0 -
Basil1234, some people are ebay power sellers & this could have a big effect on their costs/sales. I know some people post out 20+ items a day, that's an extra £30 a month in stamps.0

Worth knowing about I think, 46p is a lot of money to post a letter, it's gone up a lot over the last few years.what you mean a whole 5p that is terrible watch out double dip is coming

Also, I buy books of 100 stamps for work, so that's £5 per book saved if I stock up before March0 -

I do mean a "whole 5p", yes. Over 12% increase, hopefully ISA's will increase to that level as well - what you you think??
