Thanks OP, I've been away this week and missed this news. Yes it's only 5p but percentage-wise it's a big increase, and I think it's always worth saving any money!0

In all seriousness, I am likely to be out of work within 12 months (so much for the civil service being a secure job) and if I need to apply for jobs,, I may well have to put stamps on envelopes.

I was always under the impression that stamps are legal tender. Anyone know if that is the case please?

I thought they all also worked for the Daily Mail.
It is always worth noting who is to blame considering they previously banned Royal Mail from increasing the price to allow for decline of people posting.
