Just to chip in my tuppence, I've always found CD-wow very reliable, and very often the cheapest.
I ordered 4 DVDs and 3 turned up within 5 days (including a weekend).
Thats not bad service from half way across the world!

If you want something quickly then take yourself to a shop, but expect to pay a little more for the privilidge.

And besides, where else can you earn a £50 voucher for free, and then still get 500 piggy points worth £5 when you use it?

The extra points isn't guaranteed though, people regularly don't get points from shopping with cdwow and using *any* voucher.. even £1 voucher off a £40 order, let alone a £50 voucher for the whole order lol.

Pigsbacks stance on it is that they don't aware points for ANY purchases with ANY vouchers used in them. So if it doesn't track then you can't chase it up as you'll be wasting time, from what i have seen on here in the past!

Also, and i know it is probably down to what you're wanting to buy.. but i've not found cdwow to be the cheapest around for AGES.

I used to use them, years ago and they were more oftenly cheapest back then.. but then there didn't seem to be much in the way of competition for low cost cds/dvds and games back then either. :)

I also emailed Pigsback with my cancellation email, plus my username, and Lynn* has just credited my 500 points :j

(*so Ciara doesn't run the place singlehandedly then!)

My sister registered with Lightspeed and they didn't send her a validation e-mail so she e-mailed Lightspeed and they validated the account automatically.

But Pigsback did not give points as it wasn't done properly, so I told her to e-mail PB and forward the e-mail she got from Lightspeed apologising and confirming they had vlaidated ect.

She gets a reply from someone called Rachel at PB saying she has to get Lightspeed to send her an e-mail to say what date she registered on and then forward it on to PB.

  • I've been buying stuff off cd-wow for ages- even before PB and i've never had any problems. things have always arrived in good time. it's only recently that things seemed to have changed. I ordered Kingdom Hearts II on pre-release and i don't think i got it til almost 2 weeks after the release date. I REALLY wanted the game so i very nearly cancelled the order but it would have involved payin almost 20 quid more for it.
