How do I make a general complaint to Tesco?

I bought some of tesco's raspberry cheesecakes a while back, when I came to eat them I found a metal sliver sticking up through the cheesecake so I took it back to the store I bought it from.

There they immediatley refunded me and asked if I wanted a replacement, they also took name and address.

Two days later I received a letter from customer relations with a gift voucher for £20.
