I love the lollies! Is there a tutorial/instructions for that? They look beautiful all wrapped up! These will make great Christmas gift! Loving this soap making idea... now i just need to do some research and hopefully i have the skill for this! :)

there are 2 on one mould and they were around £1 each
(i can go look in a min)

the stuff round the massage bar is rafia
and it was £1 for the biggest bag ever from an art shop
    you can get it anywhere

i also bought a tin thing, of gardeners string
    its proper old fashioned stuff
    from poundland
    it also looks great

    these are the lollies
and you dont need a mold for these, so these are very cheap to make

the loofah soap is done in a pringles tub, so again no mold
    and yummy pringles!!

    002.jpg

you can use almost anything as a mold
    little ice cream tubs?

    make a soap trifle

    015.jpg

those tiny tubs you get in every plastic box set?
curl some white soap and set in a coloured clear one

    007.jpg

you NEED a spray bottle of surgical spirits
but apart from that, you need nothing especially to do these ones
Oh do you have a web site i so need some bits from you fro christmas

  • the lollies are uber easy and so quick

i made a tray out of tin foil
its just like making a swiss roll

poured in the white spray with surgical spirit to disperse bubble, VVV important
and allowed to almost set (6 mins or so)
scored lightly with a fork (to make the next layer stick)
made the clear layer (coloured and scented etc)
    pour, and again spray

leave to set for 8 mins or so, depends on how warm your kitchen is
when tacky, roll like you would a swiss roll and allow to set

do not refrigerate to speed this up, your layers will seperate

when set, slice and insert stick,
your soap is set but not yet solid
allow to dry out over night and bag
  • gosh sorry OP
i originally answered this to post the bath bomb recipe i use

    Bathbombs
To make 1 batch, size is depicted by mould
    INGREDIENTS300g Bicarbonate of Soda
    100g Citric Acid
10ml Fragrance or Essential Oil of choice
    Colour cosmetic liquid colour,

this makes a rustic bath bomb
if you want a pure smooth finish, add cornflour

so like 150g bicarb, 50g citric, 25g cornflour
