A few quick questions about the soaps

for the clear ones what soap did you use?

How much essential oil do you need to add?

    Could you use silicone moulds?

Can you use any cheap bar of soap?

How do you colour the melted soap?

i used M&P clear soap, i use a crystal clear one for these, SLS free, all my soaps are

essential oil is usually 1.5% of your volume used, there are a few i use either a little more or a little less, it depends on potency, i love lemon balm, so that i use more for instance

silicone moulds are fab, i use them, & i use plastic ones, and i use anything i see that lookslike it could be good, ^^^ice cream tubs, tubes etc

i have never melted down a bar of soap so i have no idea if it will work or not, try it,

i use cosmetic colouring, as its completely safe
anything else you run the risk of staining bodies or baths
  • these are the lollies
and you dont need a mold for these, so these are very cheap to make

the loofah soap is done in a pringles tub, so again no mold
    and yummy pringles!!

you can use almost anything as a mold
    little ice cream tubs?

    make a soap trifle

those tiny tubs you get in every plastic box set?
curl some white soap and set in a coloured clear one

you NEED a spray bottle of surgical spirits
but apart from that, you need nothing especially to do these ones

these are lovely! my friend has requested a soap cake for christmas, do you have a recipe? i'm a soap making virgin! :rotfl::p:o

    easy isnt it!

when you say cake recipe, do you mean like this?

its just a matter of building up the layers as you want them
    and timing
leave it too long, they wont adhere
not long enough, they will blend
