then he goes on random cereal frenzies

Ooh! I do that too. I'm always terribly careful to leave enough milk for the wifes cups of tea though, if we run dry she goes beserk with withdrawal symptoms.

I ate a fancy pants chocolate mousse thing of hers once, many years ago, shes never forgotten the rage that induced in her and likes to bring it up every so often, usually when I'm enjoying a fancy pants mousse thing.

Mind you, shes hardly innocent, I often leave toast unattended for a split second only to turn around and find her standing idly by the bitemark claiming 'weasels ate it, you just missed them' :rotfl:

and what the hell is the 'bap production area'? do you mean the kitchen?

a bap production area! you might not be aware of the terminology due to where you are from - 'muffin production area?', 'barm production area?'
it is an area of the kitchen, so you are partly right. It can in some instances double as a toast production area, but in many modern kitchens they tend to keep them seperate for hygeine reasons.

and to find out at lunchtime the same day that the woman you are living with actually has a day off work, i'd say you two have got some serious communication problems hey!

The surprise was the meal, not the day off of course. I was surprised as I expected her to be in the 'crease reduction area' of the house doing work there.

  • You did say you'd 'forgotten to make your lunch' at your normal time so maybe when your OH got to the bap production area :rotfl:she assumed you'd already made your lunch and thats why there was one left?

I do agree though, if this is all you have to worry about - crikey! Don't you share food in your house? ;)
Proud meowmy of four fuzzy cats :)
  • I do go mad when my OH eats something of mine that is very expensive and it is a treat for me. Greedy git!

Am I being petty here or am I just in being a bit miffed?

No, suggest you search either for a decent solicitor on yell.com or take a dip in the relationship pages of this parish.

Still, beat that, treat yous sen to a dog burger and wash it down with an ale later at the DnD

I'd make her (just) a sandwich for Christmas dinner.

"Well, you seemed to like them so much!" :p
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

I think that this is a salutory lesson in overindulgence. You were clearly in the wrong by taking the mid-week additional sandwich.
