Eating last sandwich

  • Hubby does this to me and it drives me crackers - I buy enough breadbuns and sandwich meat for the week that I know I'll need, and a bit overlap for him just in case. Then he decides that not only is he going to take sandwiches in ALLLLLLL week - but he's going to take an extra one to eat before doing the afterwork gym thing... result - by three days before weekly shop we're out of sarnie stuff. Following week - I buy extra and he complains all the way around Tesco that we don't need that many breadbuns.

Grrrr. He also does the same thing with milk - I know roughly how much we use a week, then he goes on random cereal frenzies, uses it all and then moans when I buy the next size up that we won't use that much.

:rotfl: at the milk problems, Dizzi

Marley is now scared to have a late-night bowl of cereal in case it disrupts my carefully calculated milk purchase-and-consumption plans for the rest of the week :D

This post made me laugh. Did your OH know that she was eating the last sandwich ? If she didn't then I'd say let it go ... if she did then it's war :p

    thats what makes it worse!
She knew that lunch was provided so thought that there would be a spare, unaware of the mid week treat i gave myself of an extra sandwich.

but when she got to the bap production area she was then fully aware that there was only 1 bap left and a lunch the following day......and then carried on regardless!

I have now just found out that as she has a day off, she is going for a lovely lunch with her parents. that really rubs it in!
