Then do you not think that this is his fault? He failed to make a trail that could be proven as to how much he has paid her, and she has decided that she can get more money out of it! I dont condone her actions in any way, but he should have covered himself so that he did not leave himself vulnerable.

    Oh i agree

Trouble is i believe thats how she wanted it so he could have access to see his kid.

I'm neutral in all things when it comes to kids. Me and my partner have a gorgeous boy who's just turned one. God forbid if we split, i'd hope we could be amicable without getting this dirty orginisation involved.

I see women scorned who use kids/CSA as a weapon. I also see men who abandon their kids.

Maybe if parents were more responsible they'd actually work together in bringing up a child without caining each other for money and using kids as goal posts.

Too many kids are pushed through hedges these days because their parents can't get a grip

    Thank's

we are supposed to be the most intelligent (sp?) species on this planet. Yet when we produce kids and the relationship breaks down we turn into Animals.

I feel very strongly about equal parenting. Something this country/justice system doesn't strive for.

Just because a man doesn't have the required "giblets" to carry a child, it doesn't mean he has any less right than the mother. Mothers get all the rights leaving the fathers with nothing which is wrong. A child needs both parents

Women should think that if the tables were turned and men carried the child, how would they feel if they were shut out of their childs life.

It's like fathers for justice. All they want is to see their kids. They have to get attention by climbing silly hights etc. Why don't the courts get their bloody acts together and realise it takes 2 to create a child, it should also allow 2 to raise the child

jusy ignore the self righteous idiots on here there always like that they seem to have a deep resentment for nrp

all you can do is explain your self in court

they wont send you to prison straight away its scare tactics (they will give you a reasonable amount of time to pay )
Is 14 years not a reasonable amount of time then?

If I needed some advice on cultural & eligious issues I would have posted on a different thread or forum.

I did not take your comments as being racist just plain ignorant and dumb which had no relevance or meaning to my question posted, so thanks all the same.

Well I have just been on the phone to NSCA and they have offered me some very good advice and is going to help me sort this out.

Thank you to all for your help and advice.

Have you thought you may be eligible for legal aid? There is a calculator here http://www.communitylegaladvice.org.uk/en/legalaid/calculator.jsp and this site will also give you a list of solicitors in your area that may be able to help you.

If you are not eligible then ring the court today and explain that you have mental capacity problems but will be defending yourself. Then WRITE to them explaining that you need time to build a case as you have no access to legal help at the moment. The court will then decide whether an adjournment is possible (usually they will do this without you having to be there) and inform you. If they do not write to you then you MUST turn up at court, even if it is for them to grant the adjournment.

I feel so sorry for your child. A child that has been utterly neglected by you. A DNA proves paternity - why is that not enough for you?

Instead of whinging about your problems you should consider the long term damage you are doing to your child - you are irresponsible. You say that you'd never abandon this child if you knew 100% it was yours - but that has been proven and you have abandoned it! The child is now 14 years old!

    Shame on you.

Yeah you just ignore the rest of his post and pull him up on this bit, he has explained well enough(imo) the difficulties with the family both sides.
