It appears this is their hobby.

I think you answered it before when you said you have people living at same address but upstairs.

<laughs> Ill bet the people upstairs have been ordering food thinking, "why the hell do we never get our order delivered?"

nah its not them - they arnt in the majority of the time the food has been ordered and the deliveries are always for really stupid names like 'Bonzo' etc....

You say you've only been living at your address for 3 months, maybe closer to 4 now. Any chance that someone hasn't realised the previous tenant has moved out? Just after my now husband moved into this house he had his car keyed for no reason. After some investigation it would seem the previous occupier wasn't the best liked person and her kids were a menace so it could have been someone didn't realise they'd moved out.

Trouble is I don't really see what I can do about it - short of phoning the police and saying 'someone keeps ordering takeaways' - I'm not sure they'd do much about it - although maybe bordering on harrasment? I might casually mention it to an Inspector who is helping me out with my Dissertation and see what he says ;)

Afraid I have no idea about cliff richard songs haha
Are you a trainee copper then? I would just do your own investigation here - or rather just get in touch with all of them that have sent the deliveries and do the code thing when an order comes through for your address. These places arent totally devoid of any thinking power - are they?

Another Some People song is by Robert Palmer - oooppps sorry it was 'Some guys have all the luck'. Specially if it was paid for before delivered!!!

Hope you catch the 'joker' though....I would be brassed off totally by now..

Perhaps you have parked in someone's favourite parking space or broken some sort of 'unwritten rule' to p1ss them off without even realising it. Do you or the upstairs flat have a cat? If so maybe it is pooing in someone's garden. Are there teenagers in one of the houses opposite? Perhaps they just find it funny to watch/video the scene. You may be a youtube star!

I agree with others to contact takeaways you order from and get a password set up! If the prankster calls up to order and is asked for a password they might stop - or move onto something else...
    Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!
