Most delivery places ask for a contact phone number when placing an order by phone. If the food providers keep a database of customers (as the big chains definitely do) then you can just provide them with a legitimate contact number and they could phone that to verify any orders.
If you want to get paranoid... it's a method of finding out if someone is at home without ringing on the doorbell yourself, order delivery. Watch to see if someone answers the door. If not then burgle the place."Gold is the money of kings; silver is the money of gentlemen; barter is the money of peasants; but debt is the money of slaves." - Norm Franz0 -

Haha - I dont see how I could have Ive been laid up in bed for the last week ill - and actually other than our parents and OH's boss no one else knows our address. Everyone else just knows we live on a particular road - but considering there's more than 200 houses on it + a lot are converted into flats it would be like finding a needle in a haystackMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

yes I know that - but the point was if it was someone I had 'p1issed off' such as a friend then they wouldn't know where I lived.....Otherwise Ive P1issed off someone Ive never even metMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

This is really odd. I guess you could ask the takeaways to help you out if this doesn't come to an end soon. How about asking them to check their records to see if the calls are all coming from the same number? It's in their interest to help you. All this food's presumably going to waste."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Yeah its really odd - they use a different name each time (Jack last night) too as for the number I don't know but I assume if they order the pizza online they could give a fake number anyway.... If it keeps happening with dominos though (who I do actually order from) I might give them a call and tell them to only deliver to people with the name of me and my partner and the flat upstairs.... As for all the rest Ive no idea what to do about as I don't order any other takeaway food and I don't even know who the other companies were. Really takes the p!ss a bit though - I dont get it Ive been living here for about 3 months and its only started happening this week - I live in a pretty nice area, its more old people and very few kids.....MFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

ISP address? But I guess that might be taking things a bit far in the name of investigation!

Trouble is I don't really see what I can do about it - short of phoning the police and saying 'someone keeps ordering takeaways' - I'm not sure they'd do much about it - although maybe bordering on harrasment? I might casually mention it to an Inspector who is helping me out with my Dissertation and see what he says
Afraid I have no idea about cliff richard songs hahaMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11
