I got back to my room in the block one night when I was in the RAF to find a take away meal hanging from my door handle...Never had Indian food before so many thanks go to the person who ordered it,to the delivery driver for delivering it to the wrong address & comiserations to the person who ordered it...
    Love Indian food now!
  • I have to say, this made me laugh! Sorry!

Surely it does border on harrassment, though. These companies are losing out on money and you're...being bombarded with unwanted food.
I'm still driving away and I'm sorry everyday,
I won't always love these selfish things.

More fool Dominos if they are going to keep on delivering without checking the authenticity of the the order.

Well I have to admit it is kind of funny that someone is wasting their own time doing this - however on the other hand its not funny having to answer the door every night to angry delivery people and have to explain that they are the X number this week that have done this....
Wouldnt be bad if the food was paid for haha

It was among other things that went on but my brother had takeaways delivered and taxis sent by some mystery stalker woman he had. He never to this day ever found out who it was, but she also used to ring his OH up and talk about their son and make it very obvious she knew his whereabouts a lot of the time. It freaked them both out as they felt constantly watched and she seemed to know when he was at work - at the time he worked a complicated 5 set shift system and even us family members would have to consult his yearly shift rota to find out if he was working or not.

Could it be something along those lines? You really never know! This woman just stopped eventually.

If you want to keep a selection of take away businesses, or are a regular of one or two. Suggest to them that you will use a code word when making orders in future, explain your address is being pranked by someone (it really isn't your fault, any takeaway would be narked, but they know its not you), maybe a code word would help both you and the food outlets in ensuring you get an order only when you order them.

this happend to a friend of mine and she arranged with them for
her to use a password :D by the way OP have you p!ssed off my X hubby as this is the sort of childish things he does :D

    I wish I knew!
Its deffo not the neighbours as they are elderly and lovely - we get on really well with them, always take in each others parcels etc.

Trouble there is also the couple upstairs - maybe theyve annoyed someone? we both have the same address except its our front door :(.

Ive no idea it seems a bit pathetic to order food to someone's house every night of the week...its getting a bit boring now

Well it seems now the snow has stopped and christmas is over, its started again. Already had it twice this week. Some people really need to get a hobby.

  • ISP address? But I guess that might be taking things a bit far in the name of investigation!

I can't read this thread without starting to hum Cliff Richard songs. Can you change the title? Cliff's !!!!!!!

    IP addresses mean nothing..

It appears this is their hobby.

I think you answered it before when you said you have people living at same address but upstairs.

<laughs> Ill bet the people upstairs have been ordering food thinking, "why the hell do we never get our order delivered?"
You can't beat an egg.........................NO WAIT!
