None left in the Derby out of town store today but loads left at the Derby, Westfield store so got one for DD.

Southampton High STreet had loads today..... Quite why I set my alarm twice (2am & then 4am) the night they went on sale is now beyond me! Still no dispatch email , ooo how it hurt walking past the big stack today!!! xx

STACKS Huge stacks all over the store and enough to compeltely cover the entire window.

Having spent all day wrapping presents, writing cards to people who I haven't heard from for years, cooking, babysitting etc etc, I've just read today's Daily Express.

On page 3, there are photos of various shoppers, braving the elements in different locations. And, in Plymouth, there was a man who must belong to a very small club.

His head is down, the snow is falling, but he manfully strides along, clutching a S & G tote bag in each hand!!!! :eek:

The handles are cleverly threaded through the Boots carriers, and it is wonderful free advert for Boots.

I hope the wife & sister, or wife and mother, or two lovers of this man appreciate the effort he has made!

Hi Polls, I knew you would echo my thoughts. I've just been Skyped by my son and 2 lovely grandchildren in California. Not the same as having cuddles, but better than nothing.

Please God you will see your son who is in Australia, and though you have many empty chairs around your table, how wonderful for your brother and sister, and of course your son who died, to know how much they are loved and missed.

Did anyone see the picture in todays Express?
'Shopper braves blizzard in Plymouth yesterday' It's a man carrying two boots bags, each appear to contain an S&G Pink Tote Bag.

So come on ladies 'fess up, who sent their husband/son/boyfriend to Boots in this atrocious weather?

Not me but D/H did get up with me at 2.00 am on 17th and made me a cuppa. He stayed up refreshing Boots.com on his pc as well until I placed my order. Will that count :rotfl:
