Hello,
Can anyone here help with my query on the differences between these two morphy richards breadmakers.
Thanks!

Brand new to this, and just a quick questin so far. Do I have to do anything with the yeast before putting it in the pan?
Thanks :-)******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0 -
No, just add it, so long as it's the fast acting yeast for breadmakers. Enjoy your lovely fresh bread!Life is not a dress rehearsal.0

Just inherited my OH's breadmaker that was rescued form his divorce (pretty much the only thing I think ) :j
Anyhoo, I don't have any 'strong' flour or yeast (or 'normal' salt - OH tells me I can't use lo-salt otherwise it doesn't rise?) yet until I go shopping but I wondered if I did get the yeast at least could I use normal (plain?) flour to make some pizza bases?

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Hubby brought home my new MRFB machine last night. I oiled and did all the "bits" to prepare it for this morning. Opened my cupboard........NO dried milk powder and NO sunflower oil. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR have to wait til tomorrow now before I can get to the shops. Soooooo disappointed

Milk powder isn't necessary and you can use other oil rather than sunflower - I always use olive oil. Hope this helpsLife is not a dress rehearsal.0

Thanks for that. Just waiting for my mum to dig out the cups and measures that she can't find! SHe gave me the BM but not the other stuff
I'm on a no-food diet too at the moment so will have to wait a few weeks, but I'm sure OH and DS will try the bread out for me******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0 -
We inherited one of these from MIL - minus the measuring cups! Soon sorted that with an email to MR - very efficient and cheap to replace them.
Before I had those I was using the Hovis breadmixes (they were on offer at Asda a while back) and I thought they were good - but I find using the seperate ingredients gives a much better loaf.
I've had flu for the past week so not been using it - but I'm missing the 'proper' bread so just about to put a loaf on now.
That and some more Easiyo yogurt! :rotfl::j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
