quick question.
I really want to make the malt loaf in the bm, but have searched all over for malt extract.
I can't find it in any supermarkets.
Anyone any ideas.
It's either not there, or it's just me looking in the wrong place.:rolleyes:0 -
Actually scrub that question, I've just answered it myself.

Congratulations to getting a breadmaker, mothertheresa(?).
I think you can get the instructions from the Morphy Richards website, it has been a mentioned a few times somewhere in this thread.
Might be easiest and quickest option for you.0 -

I bought Morphy Richards Fast Bake bread maker yesterday from Tesco Does anyone have any wheat free bread recipes which thay have tried and which are nice? I tried one ou yesterday but it turned out a but soggy and didnt rise too well - maybe its because I used a packet mix for ease and didnt try one from scratch??

Can't wait to get started but confused about melted butter
if it says half a cup of melted butter - do you melt the butter and then measure it??? or do you spoon it into the cup up to the half measure and then melt it??? if you spoon it into the cup do you have to pack it down???
sorry - i know i make things difficult for myselfDeclutter challenge 2023.

You can substitute olive oil for melted butter, Joanie, works fine and no need to melt etc, just spoon it in.Life is not a dress rehearsal.0

Either way. will do. I don't think you have to be too precise with the butter. Oil will work just as well, and if you are planning to eat the bread the same day you can skip the oil altogether - it does help bread last longer though as well as adding to the taste so only skip it if you will eat the bread quickly0
