  • and with such a personal touch. Can I have you as a friend Please ??
Hate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
    Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying
  • I hope none of my friends or family read this, but every year it's the same old thing. Nobody knows what to buy each other and I always end up with random things and lots of toiletries that I've no use for and normally recycle:( so I'd love to receive something like that especially. Something you've taken the time to make and it'll always get eaten. I've made lots of biscuits/cakes/snowman soup and other homemade things normally people say how they like them as they're also a bit unusual xxx

That'd be a lovely present that I would like.

    Do you want my address??:rotfl:
Life is a rollercoaster.....ya just gotta ride it:whistle:
  • I'm going to make some gingerbread men, chocs and fudge next week with my 5 year old DS next week to give as little extras. If someone went to the trouble to make something for me, I would be so chuffed :) My MIL has made DS a lovely fruity iced Chrimbo cake (I made one for me and hubby as we don't like icing) it obvi!usly took her ages as she's made a picture of Santa out of icing for it, I was so touched, home made gifts are the best.

  • I'd love a present like this but only if I knew the giver well enough to know how clean their kitchen is, this quote sums it up rather well:
I'd like it if your house had the cleanliness of Hyacinth Bucket, but if your house were more like her sister's then I'd be mortified.

I would be happy with that :) Personally though, I would always give something I had bought as well as the homemade stuff. It seems a little bit cheap otherwise, in my opinion. I know a lot of you will disagree though, which is fine.

Yeah I disagree with that, someone taking effort and hours to make a load of nice food then wrap it all up pretty says so much more than someone waiting for 5 mins in the queue at Boots to pay for some mass produced toiletries.

I think it sounds lovely x and yes I would love to have a gift like that
I'm planning on knitting scarves for my family next year - as well as other presents - some people I know will really appreciate them but there are a couple of people who I think will look and think why have I got handmade rubbish which I think is sad :(

Don't think i'd want to eat it as I only like stuff I know how its been prepared - but I would appreciate the thoughtfulness.

your more likely to know with them being homemade than shop brought. more natural to

    i'd love it hun
  • I'd love it as a gift better than the socks and smelly gift sets that I got last year :D

    Steph xx
  • Lovely idea, i got homemade cupcakes off a friend for my birthday and loved them- so much nicer than shopbought and the fact that she put her precious time and effort in made them extra special xx
