How would you feel about receiving a gift like this?

Since I love baking, I've decided to do fudge, brownies, millionaires shortbread, peppermint creams and cookies as gifts. I was going to put each in a cellophane bag with ribbon and a little tag with a gingerbread man with use by date on it. Then put them all in a white cake box with tissue paper and tie the box with more ribbon. I'm a little apprehensive about people's reactions etc, so how would you feel about receiving a gift like this?

  • I would love it. A present you could really enjoy instead of the usual old tolietries set.
  • I think that sounds lovely and would be made up with a gift like that. So much thought and effort.
  • Sounds lovely; original and thoughtful rather than yet another 3 for 2 bargain bought from Boots.
  • Yep, I'd be well pleased how thoughtful. :D
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

I'd like it if your house had the cleanliness of Hyacinth Bucket, but if your house were more like her sister's then I'd be mortified.

I'd be delighted with your thoughtfulness and creativity but I'd need a subscription to WeightWatchers too.
